Knitting pattern

The pattern repeat consists of 20 stitches and 12 rows. The number of stitches cast on must be a multiple of 20. In turning (flat) knitting, increase 1 stitch for symmetry and 2 edge stitches. After knitting the odd rows, the number of stitches in the repeat increases. After knitting the even rows, the number of stitches in the repeat returns to 20 stitches.
