It is especially convenient to connect these fragments - look at the knitting scheme - we connect where there are 3 chain stitches in the last row.

The places of fragment connections are shown in blue, and in green - the actual connection: to the 3 chain stitches of one fragment, we attach the 2nd fragment. To do this, we knit a chain stitch, a slip stitch under the group of 3 chain stitches of the neighboring fragment, a chain stitch, and then continue to connect the next groups of 3 chain stitches.
