The patterns are very good and clear

Master class by Svetik

I knitted in size 46. Yarn: Pearl (Pehorka) 100g/425m cotton with viscose. It took a little more than 2 skeins. If making just a sleeveless top, 2 skeins will be enough.

With a hook #3, I cast on a chain of 96 air stitches. Then with a hook #2, I crocheted a row of 1 double crochet, 1 air stitch. In the second row, I crocheted all 96 stitches with a single crochet. I ended up with a ribbon 36 cm long.

During the knitting process, this central insert lengthened to 39 cm, that is, it grew by 3 cm. Therefore, I think if you want a shorter top, you can remove 1-2 sections (of the rapport) from the pattern. Here are 1-2 arches. Or take thinner yarn.

This is the pattern of the arches of the central part that I knitted.

And here is the finished central part: length 39 cm, width 18 cm.

Now we can start knitting the main fabric (the back along with the sides).

For this, with hook #3, I cast on 169 air stitches and switch to hook #2. The pattern is in the next photo.

This is the main pattern of the top.

This is how I knit a seamless back with sides for the white top. To create a waistline, you can knit according to the pattern from the source. And if the size is large, you can knit straight.

And here is the back with the sides of the top completed..

The width of the straps can be adjusted and knitted wider.

5641668_li14li (500x655, 323Kb)

Now we can connect the central part and the main part.
