Materials: Size 20 thread – Around 110 grams with 1.75-mm Tulip stainless steel crochet hook.

Abbreviations:

Ch – Chain
Sl stitch – Slip stitch
Sc – Single crochet
Yo – Yarn over
Tr – Treble crochet
Dtr – Double Treble crochet
FP – Front post
BP – Back post
Dc/hdc/trtog – Dc/hdc/tr together

Stitch Instructions:

Popcorn – Work the number of dc/tr in or around the stitch/space indicated, drop loop from the hook, insert hook in the 1st stitch and then in hook dropped loop, yo and draw through both loops. {For beg popcorn, work ch 3/4 for 1st dc/tr}.

Picot – Work no. of chains mentioned, sl stitch on top of last stitch made.

Cluster – Work the number of dc/tr in or around the stitch/space indicated retaining the last loop from all dc/tr on the hook, yo and pull through all loops to complete the cluster stitch. For beg cluster, work 1 chain less respectively for the stitch indicated (ch 2 /3 for 1st dc/tr).

Braid the loops as shown in pics below:

You’ll have 6 pairs of loops and 1 loop at top…

Pull the 2nd last loop from bottom inside the last loop…1st braid made…

Pull the loop above the 1st braid inside the last loop…2nd braid made…Similarly pull the loops above until you reach the 6th loop…(5 braids)

Pull the loops on the other side as well in a similar manner until you have 5 braids on each side with only 3 open loops remaining…

Place the right loop over the left loop of the remaining last pair of loops to get a single hole & pull the top loop inside the hole with just 1 loop left at the top…
