A Pekhorka half-wool set. Crossberd Brazil, 500 m per 100 g. The hat was knitted in 2 strands with a 3.5 mm crochet hook; the scarf in 3.5 mm on one strand, but I added 2 strands of Semenov's bobbin half-wool Lydia. Exactly 200 g of Crossberd were used for the set.

The hat is knitted across. When this piece of fabric, its length equal to the head circumference, was unraveled, it was sewn, then the crown is knitted in the round.

Notes on the 1st and 2nd star stitches of the 3rd row

We chained three stitches for the lift and start pulling out the loops: the 1st from the 2nd chain (counting from the hook), the 2nd from the 3rd chain, the 3rd from the last half-stitch of the 2nd row, the 4th from the penultimate and the 5th from the pre-penultimate. You have 6 loops on the hook; pull the yarn through them. You will get the 1st star stitch and one loop on the hook. Secure the star stitch by knitting 1 chain (the Japanese draw it as a small circle). The 2nd star stitch begins by pulling out the 1st loop exactly from this circle (our anchoring chain); the 2nd loop is drawn from the body of the last loop of the previous star stitch, the 3rd from the same place where the 5th loop of the previous star stitch was drawn from, the 4th and 5th as in the 2nd-row half-stitches. And so on. Knit the resulting 6 loops, securing with a chain.
