Size: S — M — L — XL — XXL – XXXL.
You will need: 550-600-650-750-800-900 g of Muskal yarn (50g./100m), pink color. Needles 4.5 mm. Knitting density: 20 sts x 26 rows in stockinette (knit) = 10 x 10 cm.
Back of the knitted jacket
Cast on 82-90-98-108-118-128 sts (including 1 edge st on each side) on 4.5 mm needles. Knit 4 rows in garter stitch and continue in stockinette stitch. After 6 cm, decrease 1 st on each side every 3 cm for a total of 5 times = 72-80-88-98-108-118 sts. After 22-23-24-25-26-27 cm, increase 1 st on each side every 2 cm for a total of 7 times = 86-94-102-112-122-132 sts. After 39-40-41-42-43-44 cm, bind off for armholes on each side every second row: 3 sts 1-1-1-1-2-2 times. 2 sts 1-2-3-4-5-6 times and 1 st 1-2-3-5-4-6 times = 74-76-78-80-82-84 sts. Continue in stockinette (knit) stitch. After 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm, bind off the middle 24-24-24-26-26-26 sts for the neckline. Decrease for rounding the neckline every second row: 1 st 4 times = 21-22-23-23-24-25 sts will remain on the needles for each shoulder. After 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm, bind off the stitches.
Right front of the knitted jacket
Cast on 52-56-60-65-70-75 sts (including 1 edge st) on 4.5 mm needles. Knit 4 rows in garter stitch and knit the next row from the right side as follows: P.1, knit remaining sts in stockinette stitch. Make decreases and increases on the side as on the back. At the same time, after 38 cm, decrease for the neckline in the pattern according to chart M.1: 1 st every 6-5-5-5-5-6 cm for a total of 4-4-4-5-5-5 times. At the same time, after 39-40-41-42-43-44 cm, bind off stitches for armholes as on the back. After all the decreases for the neckline and armholes, there will be 44-45-46-46-47-48 sts left on the needles. (If you are knitting the pattern at the beginning or end of chart M.1 or in another place on chart M.1, the number of stitches may be up to 7 sts less). After 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm, bind off the last 21-22-23-23-24-25 sts for the shoulder = there will be from 16 to 23 sts left on the needles. Continue knitting the pattern on these sts to a height of 8-8-8-9-9-9 cm (this part needs to be slightly stretched when sewing it to the neckline of the back). Move the remaining stitches to a auxiliary thread.
Left front of the knitted jacket
Knit symmetrically to the right, i.e. follow the pattern according to chart M.2
Sleeve of the knitted jacket
Knit the cuff separately in the transverse direction. Then, pick up stitches along the upper edge of the cuff and knit the sleeve from the cuff.
Cuff
Cast on 37 sts on 4.5 mm needles and knit the pattern according to chart M.1, knitting 1 st from the left edge in garter stitch. Repeat the pattern according to chart M.1 5-5-5-6-6-6 times in height and bind off the stitches.
Sleeve
Pick up 60-60-60-70-70-70 sts from the edge of the cuff made in garter stitch. Knit 1 row from the wrong side in garter stitch, evenly decreasing to 50-52-56-60-62-64 sts. Continue in stockinette stitch, adding 1 st on each side every 3-2.5-2.5-2-2-1.5 cm for a total of 10-11-11-12-13-14 times = 70-74-78-84-88-92 sts. After 31-30-29-28-27-26 cm (less for larger sizes due to the larger sleeve cap), decrease for the sleeve cap on each side every second row: 3 sts once, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 2-4-5-6-8-10 times, then 2 sts on each side until the sleeve length (measured from the cuff) reaches 38 cm, decrease 3 sts once on each side and bind off remaining sts. The total length of the sleeve is approximately 58 cm including the cuffs.
Assembly
Sew the shoulder seams. Sew the collar at the back by the edge stitches so that the seam is not thick. Attach the collar to the neckline of the back, stretching it slightly. Set in the sleeves, sewing the sleeve seams and side seams by the edge stitches.
Knitting chart for the jacket
See charts M. 1 and M.2. The chart shows the pattern from the knit side. Attention! In row 14 of chart M.1 and in row 15 of chart M.2, cast on 7 new sts at the end of the row.
