Pattern for Knitting the Pillow-Toy Sheep.

Body-pillow (1 piece) – pink "grass" yarn, hook № 3.5.

Here you will need to prepare for a long knitting session. It took me 2 days for this.

As I mentioned before, the pillow will be round and flat. It is knitted quite simply.

1 row: make an amigurumi ring, cast on 6 stitches (6)
2 row: (1 INC) * 6 times (12)
3 row: (1 SC, 1 INC) * 6 times (18)
4 row: (2 SC, 1 INC) * 6 times (24)
5 row: (3 SC, 1 INC) * 6 times (30)
6 row: (4 SC, 1 INC) * 6 times (36)
7 row: (5 SC, 1 INC) * 6 times (42)
8 row: (6 SC, 1 INC) * 6 times (48)

36 row: (8 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (54)
37 row: (7 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (48)
Turn the piece inside out, because the wrong side of the pillow will be the fluffiest and most textured. Start filling the pillow lightly, loosely. In any case, a lot of stuffing will go into such a pillow. Then continue knitting, picking the stitches as if from the inside, from the bottom.
38 row: (6 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (42)
39 row: (5 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (36)
40 row: (4 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (30)
41 row: (3 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (24)
42 row: (2 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (18)
43 row: (1 SC, 1 DEC) * 6 times (12)
44 row: 6 DEC (6)

Phew, finally finished knitting :-)  We tighten the hole, hide the yarn.

Knitting with "grass" yarn is quite capricious; you have to watch the number of stitches very carefully. Be sure to mark the beginning of the row and periodically recount the number of stitches.

This time I managed without losses, which I wish for you too!

The diameter of the pillow was 21 cm. Here it is, fluffy, soft, and pink )

Insert the safety eyes. Connect the fuzzy and smooth parts of the head and sew them together, remembering to stuff them with toy stuffing.

The length of the head was 11 cm. You can also knit the eyes if you wish, as I did when knitting the first Sheep-pillow

With black yarn (iris) embroider the line of the mouth and nose. Optionally, you can "draw" eyebrows and eyelashes. I did not do that.

Fold the ears in half, giving them the desired shape, and sew them to the head.

Sew the paws to the body-pillow on all four sides.

And the final touch, sew the head to the body-pillow.
