Knit the sole like this: Row 1. Chain 10 stitches, then make a single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook and in the remaining 8 stitches, totaling 9 stitches, which means single crochet. For rows 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, make a chain stitch and then in each stitch (or loop) crochet 1 single crochet, totaling 11 single crochets. In row 7, increase: crochet 1 single crochet in the next 4 stitches, in the 5th stitch crochet 2 single crochets, then 1 single crochet in the remaining 4 stitches, so you should have 11 single crochets. Rows 8 to 28, crochet 1 single crochet in each stitch, totaling 11 stitches in each row, but do not forget to make a chain stitch at the beginning of each row. In row 29, crochet 1 single crochet in the first 4 stitches, then in the 5th and 6th stitches crochet 2 single crochets and 1 single crochet in the remaining 4 stitches. For rows 30 to 35, make a chain stitch and then in each stitch crochet 1 single crochet, totaling 12 stitches. In row 36, decrease: crochet the first five stitches with 1 single crochet each, and crochet the 6th and 7th stitches together as 1 single crochet, followed by 5 stitches with 1 single crochet each, resulting in 11 single crochets. For rows 37-38, make a chain stitch and crochet 1 single crochet in each stitch, totaling 11 single crochets. In row 39, decrease as follows: crochet the first 4 stitches with 1 single crochet each, then crochet the 5th, 6th, and 7th stitches together as 1 single crochet, followed by 4 stitches with 1 single crochet each, resulting in 9 single crochets. For rows 40-42, crochet 1 single crochet in each stitch, and you should have 9 single crochets. In row 43, decrease again: crochet the first 3 stitches with 1 single crochet each, then crochet the 4th, 5th, and 6th stitches together as 1 single crochet, and then the last 3 stitches with 1 single crochet each. You should have 7 single crochets. In row 44, crochet 1 single crochet in each stitch, resulting in 7 single crochets. This was the last row of the foot. Do not cut the yarn. Next, crochet the sides with 1 single crochet. On one side, there should be 43 single crochets, then on the heel with 1 single crochet, resulting in 9 single crochets. The next side again with 1 single crochet, ultimately there should be 43 stitches in the sock, where the first stitch is made with a single crochet, the next stitch with half double crochet, the next 3 stitches with single crochet, followed by half double crochet and the last stitch with single crochet. Finish the work. In total, there should be 104 half double crochets in the round. Cut the yarn. The foot is ready! Mark 12 points where you will make decreases as shown on the slipper. Now let's move on to the sides. Knit like this: make a slip stitch, that is, attach the yarn where you will make the strap. Then make 2 chain stitches and start knitting towards the heel. Hold the wrong side towards you, that is, the right side facing out. Row 1: 1 half double crochet in each stitch for the back loop of the stitch, but where you marked, make a decrease - that is, crochet 2 stitches as 1 half double crochet, and so on around. In total, you should have 86 half double crochets, connect with the 2nd chain stitch. Do not cut the yarn, continue knitting. All subsequent rows are knitted through both loops. Row 2: 2 chain stitches, turn the work and crochet 1 half double crochet in each stitch. Count the chain stitches as the first half double crochet, resulting in 86 half double crochets, connect with the 2nd stitch on the chain stitch. Row 3: make 2 chain stitches. The chain stitches count as the first half double crochet. Turn the work, and in the first stitch make a slip stitch not in the stitch, but in the previous column. The next stitch with half double crochet... and so on to the end of the row. In total, you should have 86 half double crochets. 43 of them half double crochet through the stitch, and 43 half double crochet through the front column, connect with the 2nd stitch on the chain stitch. Row 4: make 2 chain stitches, turn the work and crochet 1 half double crochet in each stitch, at the end of the row connect with the 2nd stitch on the chain stitch. Why "on the chain stitch"? Because each time you make 2 chain stitches, you count them as the first half double crochet... there should be 86 half double crochets. Row 5: In this row, we start making the strap; in this row we do not turn the work. 2 chain stitches. Count the chain stitches as a half double crochet. The next will be a half double crochet through the front walls of the previous half double crochet, then a half double crochet through the stitch, and alternate until you reach the marked strap point. Make 2 chain stitches and turn the work, then crochet towards the heel with 1 half double crochet in each stitch until the next point, where you marked the strap. Do not cut the yarn. Make 2 chain stitches and turn the work *1 half double crochet through the front wall of the previous half double crochet. 1 half double crochet, 1 half double crochet through the previous half double crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 half double crochet through the previous half double crochet and 1 half double crochet. * You will have 6 half double crochets. Make 2 chain stitches and turn the work, repeat from * Knit 6 such rows. Make 1 chain stitch and crochet a single crochet in each stitch, resulting in 6 single crochets. Cut the yarn. We knit the tongue like this: chain 8 stitches. Row 1 single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, then crochet the remaining stitches with single crochet. Row 2 and all subsequent rows are knitted in the same way. Do not forget the chain stitches at the beginning of the row. Knit as many rows as you need for size. When finished, crochet around with single crochets, in the corner stitches crochet 2 single crochets.

For these slippers, I used a skein of gray Kartopu Gonca yarn (acrylic 300m/100g) and a little bit of black yarn from the same brand. Crochet hook #3. I also bought two buttons to embellish. I knitted like this: First, you need to make holes in the sole at a distance of about 1 cm from the edge and the same distance between the holes using an awl or something else (I did it with a knitting needle and manicure scissors, as I don’t have an awl). Then I crocheted the sole around the edge, between the holes I crocheted 2 chain stitches. This can be done with gray yarn, or (I later saw this) it can be done with stronger, silk yarn, for example. Once we have crocheted the sole, we start knitting the top, alternating between raised and recessed double crochets. Just in case, if you have not encountered them yet, or simply forgotten, I provide diagrams:

Knit recessed stitches over recessed stitches, raised stitches over raised stitches, this way we create a unique ribbing. I knitted 7 rows of this ribbing, you can adjust according to your man=)) Then knit another row of regular single crochets, but skipping every other stitch. This is necessary to tighten the slipper so that it does not slip off the foot. I recommend repeating this step immediately with the second slipper so that they are equally ready and have maximum symmetry. When the second slipper is crocheted, we start knitting the top. This part is knitted separately, as follows. Row 1: 11 chain stitches Row 2: 10 single crochets Row 3: 9 single crochets, increase Row 4: 10 single crochets, increase Row 5: 11 single crochets, increase Row 6: 12 single crochets, increase Row 7: 13 single crochets, increase Row 8: 14 single crochets, increase Row 9: 15 single crochets, increase Row 10: 16 single crochets, increase Row 11: 17 single crochets, increase Row 12: 18 single crochets, increase Row 13: 19 single crochets, increase Row 14: 20 single crochets, increase Row 15: 21 single crochets, increase (I stopped at this width, but if your man has a wide foot, you can crochet a couple more rows with increases) then crochet 23 single crochets in each row until you are satisfied with the length of the toe. I ended up with about 10-12 rows, I didn't count them. When the desired length is reached, crochet another 4 rows, but with decreases at the end of each row to form a "tongue," as on real moccasins. Repeat this detail once more. Now the most difficult part, perhaps. We need to neatly attach our details. This can be done with a needle or with a hook using black yarn for contrast. Leave the "tongue" unsewn. You can also crochet the edge of the "tongue" with black yarn using a hook.

The last nice part is the decoration. You can leave it as is, or you can knit strips 1.5-2 cm wide and sew them on, embellishing them with a button to match, at your discretion.
