Sequence of Twisted Stitches

One of the sought-after elements used in freeform technique is the twisted or nearly twisted stitch, for the quality execution of which sufficient experience is needed.
Twisted stitches can be knitted in different ways, one of which we present for your attention.

Instructions:

To ensure that the stitches are even and that there are no difficulties when knitting a large number of twists, we recommend using a knitting needle with a large eye.

  1. Place the needle along the hook with the eye towards the hook's head (Fig. 1).

  2. On the hooked and needle placed together, make wraps with the working yarn, sequentially pressing the coils against the hook with your finger (Fig. 2).

  3. Then, while continuing to hold the coils, pull a loop from the chain loop and, capturing the working yarn, pull it through the coils.

When pulling the working yarn, we "push" the needle with the hook's head (Fig. 3–4).
There are 2 loops remaining on the hook. To finish the twisted stitch, grab the working yarn and pull it through the 2 loops on the hook (Fig. 5–6).
