You will need: 9 (10) skeins of 50 g yarn “Flamenco” in azure color; 1(1) skein of 50 g yarn “Flamenco” in white color; hooks 3.5 mm and 4 mm; 12 (14) buttons.

Knit density: 10 cm = 16 dc and 8.5 rows, crocheted with a 4 mm hook.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
BACK:
Using a 4 mm hook, make a chain of 54 (62) ch in azure yarn.
Initial row (right side): 1 dc in the fourth ch from the hook, 1 dc in each ch to the end, turn. 52 (60) st. (The first 3 ch are counted as one st.)
Pattern row: 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each dc, finish with 1 dc in the third of the 2 ch at the beginning of the previous row, turn. Repeat the pattern row 34 (40) more times, finish with a wrong side row. A total of 36 (42) rows. Bind off.
Flap:
Hold the work with the right side facing you, using a 4 mm hook crochet the flap from the bottom of the back, skipping 3 dc from the edge and starting from the fourth. Row 1: 3 ch, 1 dc in the base of each of the next 45 (53) dc, turn. 46 (54) st. Repeat the pattern row as for the back, 5 times.
“Moon” motif:
Work using the intarsia method. Row 1: crochet with white yarn (B), 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 6 (9) dc, crochet 26 dc from row 1 of the pattern (read from right to left) using the specified colors, then using color A crochet 1 dc in each of the next 6 (9) dc, 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch. turn. Row 2: crochet with color A 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 12 (17) dc, crochet 26 dc from row 2 of the pattern (read from left to right) using the specified colors, then using color A crochet 1 dc in each of the next 6 (9) dc, 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. Similarly crochet the remaining rows of the pattern until it is completed. A total of 20 rows. Continue with color A: repeat the pattern row 4 more times. A total of 24 rows. Bind off.
LEFT FRONT:
Using a 4 mm hook, make a chain of 27 (31) ch in color A yarn. Crochet the initial row and row 1 as for the back. 25 (29) st. Consider the initial row as wrong side: Repeat the pattern row 9 (15) times, finish with a wrong side row. A total of 11 (17) rows. ** Bind off.
Shaping the armhole: Hold the work with the right side facing you, skip the first 7 dc and crochet from the next. Next row: 3 ch, 1 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in each dc, finish with 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. 18 (22) st. Repeat the pattern row 5 (7) times, finish with a wrong side row.
Shaping the neckline: Row 1: 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 13 (15) dc, 2 dc together over the next 2 dc, turn. Row 2: 2 ch, skip 2 dc together, 1 dc in each dc, finish with 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. Row 3: 3 ch, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in each of the next 11 (13) dc, 2 dc together over the last 2 dc, turn. Row 4: as row 2. 12 (14) st. Repeat the pattern row once. Bind off.
RIGHT FRONT:
Work as the left front, up to **.
Shaping the armhole: Next row: 3 ch, 1 dc in the first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 16 (20) dc, turn. 18 (22) st. Repeat the pattern row 5 (7) times, finish with a wrong side row. Bind off.
Shaping the neckline: Hold the work with the right side facing you, skip the first 2 (4) dc and crochet from the next. Row 1: 2 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 14 (16) dc, 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. Row 2: 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 12 (14) dc, 2 dc together over the last 2 dc, turn. Row 3: 2 ch, skip 2 dc together, 1 dc in each dc, finish with 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. Row 4: 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 10 (12) dc, 2 dc together over the last 2 dc, turn. 12 (14) st. Repeat the pattern row once. Bind off.
ARMHOLES (2 pieces):
Make shoulder seams. Starting from the armhole: Hold the work with the right side facing you, using a 4 mm hook crochet from the inner corner of the armhole, 3 ch, 38 (44) dc evenly distributed along the armhole, turn. Repeat the pattern row 3 (5) times A total of 4 (6) rows.
Work the sleeve: Decrease row 1: 2 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each dc, finish with 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. Decrease row 2: 2 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each dc to the last dc, skip 2 ch, turn. Decrease row 3: 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each dc to the last dc, skip 2 ch, turn. Decrease row 4: 3 ch, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each dc, finish with 1 dc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. 36 (42) st. Repeat these 4 rows two more times. 32 (38) st. A total of 16 (18) rows. For the second size, work one pattern row. For both sizes a total of 16 (19) rows. Bind off.
CUFFS:
Finish the sleeve seams so that the first 4 rows fit into the corners of the armholes. Using a 3.5 mm hook, crochet the sleeves with color A yarn, starting from the seam. Round row 1: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first dc, 1 sc in each dc, finish with 1 slip st in the first sc of the row. Round row 2: 1 sc in each sc of the row, [2 sc over 2 sc] 4 times at equal intervals. Round row 3: 1 sc in each sc. Repeat round row 3 5 more times, finish at the seam with 1 slip st in the first sc of the last row. A total of 8 rows. Bind off.
HOOD:
Using a 4 mm hook, make a chain of 66 (74) ch in color A yarn. Crochet the initial row and pattern row as for the back. 64 (72) st. Repeat the pattern row 12 (14) times. A total of 14 (16) rows.
EDGE TRIM:
Work with a 3.5 mm hook. Decrease row: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first dc, 1 sc in each of the next 2 (3) dc, [2 sc together over the next 2 dc, 1 sc in each of the next 6 (7) dc] 7 times, 2 sc together over the next 2 dc, 1 sc in each of the last 2 dc, 1 sc in the third of the 3 ch, turn. 56 (64) st. Next row: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first sc, 1 sc in each sc to the end, turn. Repeat this row 2 more times. Bind off. Fold the hood in half and sew the back seam. Sew the hood to the neckline, evenly gathering along the front edge.
FRONT FASTENING:
Make the side seams, matching the rows below the armholes. For the fastening on the “male” side:
The right band: Hold the work with the right side facing you, using a 3.5 mm hook crochet with color A yarn, starting from the bottom edge of the back. Row 1: 1 ch, 2 sc in the end of each row to the corner, 3 sc together in the corner, 1 sc in the base of each dc along the bottom edge of the right front, 3 sc from one ch at the corner, 2 sc in the end of each row of the front to the neckline, turn. Row 2: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first sc, 1 sc in each sc to the end, work 3 sc over the second of the 3 sc at the outer corner and 3 sc together at the inner corner. Turn. Rows 3 and 4: as row 2. Bind off.
The left band: Mark the position of 4 buttons on the right band: the top - 2 ch below the neckline edge, the bottom - at the corner of the right front, and the others evenly distributed between them. Hold the work with the right side facing you, using a 3.5 mm hook crochet with color A yarn, starting from the top edge of the left front. Row 1: 1 ch, 2 sc in the end of each row to the corner, 3 sc from one ch at the corner, 1 sc in the base of each dc along the bottom edge of the left front, 3 sc together in the corner, 2 sc in the end of each row to the bottom of the back, turn. Row 2: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first sc, 1 sc in each sc to the end, work 3 sc over the second of the 3 sc at the outer corner and 3 sc together at the inner corner. Mark the position of the buttonholes on the band that correspond to the placement of the buttons on the right band. Row 3: as row 2, but at the marked places work buttonholes: [2 ch, skip 2 sc]. Row 4: as row 2, crochet 2 sc over every 2 ch. Bind off. For the fastening on the “female” side: Crochet the left band as described above, but without buttonholes. Mark the position of 4 buttons. Crochet the right band as described above, but work buttonholes according to the markings. In the lower corners of the back, fold the band inside and sew its end to the bases of 3 dc on both sides of the flap.
TRIM FOR THE FLAP:
Hold the work with the right side facing you, using a 3.5 mm hook crochet the flap with color A yarn, starting from the lower right corner. Row 1: 1 ch, 2 sc in the end of each row to the corner, 3 sc from one ch at the corner, 1 sc in each dc along the top of the flap, 3 sc from one ch at the corner, 2 sc in the end of each row to the lower left corner, turn. Row 2: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first sc, 1 sc in each sc and 3 sc in the second of the 3 sc at the corners, to the end of the row, turn. Mark the position of 9 (11) buttonholes: 1 at the center of the upper edge of the flap for the lower button of the front, one at each corner of the flap, 2 more - 1 at the top edge and 2 (3) on the side edges of the flap. Row 3: as row 2, but work buttonholes at the marked places: [2 ch, skip 2 sc]. Row 4: as row 2, but crochet 2 sc over every 2 ch. Fasten. Sew the lower ends of the flap band. Sew on the appropriate buttons.
“STAR” MOTIF (3 pieces):
Using a 3.5 mm hook, make a chain of 5 ch in color B yarn and join it into a ring with 1 slip st in the first ch. Round row 1: * 3 ch, 1 sc in the second ch from the hook, 1 hdc in the next ch, 1 slip st in the next ch of the ring, repeat from * 4 more times, finish with the last slip st in the base of the first ch of the star. Fasten. Position the stars on the flap as shown in the photo and sew them on. Following the pattern, embroider the eye and mouth of the Moon (color A). Steam as indicated in the yarn instructions.
