Despite the simplicity of the basic pattern, the crocheted dress decorated with floral motifs is beautiful and delicate. I am once again convinced that when making children's items, it is not necessary to use complex patterns.
Yarn: white, red, moss - Violet Yarnart, blue and navy - Filo di Scozia No. 8 Titanwool (cotton, 338m in 50g). I also lightened the moss Violet with Domestos to make it less dark. I added a blue spool thread in two strands. Hooks: 2mm for Violet and 1.4mm for Filo. Under the skirt, there is a petticoat made of 4 layers of stiff tulle.
The skirt is based on a Ralph Lauren model. Increases are made by 1 stitch on each side of the floral stripe in every 6th row.
Poppies are crocheted according to the blacksea scheme, but they turned out to be too large for my dress, so I reduced the petals by 2 rows.
Cornflowers: there were 7 petals, at the end of each petal it turns over to the other side. There is no special meaning in this; it just turned out that way in the rows.
The border scheme: the upper part is crocheted with a pattern of stitches, and then the finished top is edged with a strip of flowers. The flowers are crocheted the same way as on the skirt, i.e., in 2 rows: Row 1 - arches of chains with a stitch on top, Row 2 - petals (they are shown in the skirt scheme). Further, the narrow edging is also 2 rows: Row 1 - 5 chains, SC in the junction of the petals, Row 2 - 4 SC, picot.
