Original and comfortable pullover for a boy.

You will need: yarn (50% wool, 30% polyacrylic, 20% viscose; 90 m/50 g) — 450 g of brown melange; knitting needles No. 3.5—4.5 and 4.5—5.5; 3 silver buttons with a diameter of 1.5 cm. Ribbing: alternately 2 knit, 2 purl. Stockinette stitch: knit rows — knit stitches, purl rows — purl stitches. Purl stitch: knit rows — purl stitches, purl rows — knit stitches. Knitting density: stripes of stockinette and purl stitches, needles No. 4.5—5.5: 18 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm; stockinette: 16 sts x 22 rows = 10*10 cm. Back: Cast on 70 sts on needles No. 3.5—4.5 and knit 4 cm of ribbing. Continue working with needles No. 4.5—5.5: edge, purl stitch, edge. After 43 cm = 102 rows from the ribbing, bind off the stitches. Front: knit as for the back, but after 24 cm = 58 rows from the ribbing for the placket, bind off the middle 4 sts and finish both sides separately. After 12 cm = 28 rows from the beginning of the separate knitting, bind off 4 sts from the inner edge for the neckline once, then in every 2nd row bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once, and 1 st three times. After 47 cm from the lower edge of the piece, bind off all stitches. Sleeves: cast on 38 sts on needles No. 3.5—4.5 and knit 4 cm of ribbing. Continue working with needles No. 4.5—5.5: edge, purl stitch, edge. For the slopes, increase 15 times by 1 st on both sides in every 4th row. After 33 cm from the lower edge of the piece, bind off all stitches. Assembly: Pin the pieces to the pattern, dampen, and leave until dry. Sew the shoulder seams. Set in the sleeves. Sew the sleeve seams and side seams. For the trim, cast on 18 sts on needles No. 3.5—4.5 along the edges of the front neckline, 24 sts along the back neckline, and knit 3 cm of ribbing, then bind off the stitches. Along the vertical edges of the slit, cast on 32 sts and knit ribbing. With a width of 1.5 cm for the bands, bind off all stitches. Sew the bands to the front at the section with bound off stitches.
