Ruffled sweater knitted with needles

SWEATER for girl
made of ''mink down'' with ruffles on the front.

Size: from 110 to 118 cm
Chest circumference: 52–55 cm
Yarn: mink down
Consumption: 4 skeins. We knit with two threads.
Needles:

• No. 4 circular

• No. 5 double-pointed (for sleeves)

• No. 3 circular needle from 60 cm for knitting ruffles

Description:

On circular needles cast on 80 stitches + 1 stitch to join in the round.
Knit in the round 1.5 cm in ribbing 1 × 1.

Next, distribute the stitches: front, back, sleeves, raglan lines (two knit stitches for each line).

Raglan lines mark with markers.
Increases along the raglan line: in every second row, increase one stitch on both sides of each raglan line.
A total of 8 stitches will be added at a time (4 lines × 2 stitches).

On the front half of the sweater, knit the pattern according to diagram 1 in the center.
Knit until the length of the raglan line reaches 17 cm (for this size of the sweater).

Thus, continue to knit until the underarm of the sleeve.
Next, on the back knit the Asian back (4 rows).

Note:
Asian back — these are additional rows on the back that make it longer than the "front" — as a result, if the front drops, the garment has a comfortable fit.
The Asian back is knitted in straight rows back and forth, the entire upper part of the garment is knitted, while the stitches of the sleeves and front are left on additional needles with a cable or temporarily closed.

Next, transfer the sleeve stitches to a spare yarn.
Join the back and front stitches in the round and continue knitting the sweater until the required length of the garment (in this case, knit another 27 cm).
Next, knit ribbing 1 × 1 (6 cm) and close the stitches with a needle in an elastic way.

Sleeve

• Transfer the sleeve stitches to double-pointed needles No. 5.

• Gather the underarm stitches.

• Knit the first row according to the pattern.

• You need to remove 4 stitches from the underarm by decreasing.

In the second row, knit two stitches together:
— first leaning to the left,
— then leaning to the right.
Next, knit a row without decreases.

Next:

• Knit a row without decreases.

• In the next row, decrease two stitches again.

• There should be 50 stitches left on the needles.

• Knit another 29 cm in stockinette stitch to the cuff.

• Next, reduce the number of stitches to 36.

• Knit a cuff in ribbing 1 × 1 with a height of 6 cm and close the stitches with a needle.
