JACKET WITH A BOW TIE FOR A LITTLE GIRL. AUTHOR Nadezhda Volkovahttp://klubok.work/23/185/6898/Klubok

Alize Midi yarn in 100 g 170 m. cream color, and a couple of leftover skeins in purple and gray colors, needles 3.5, will require a little over 3 skeins of the main color. I knit the base of the jacket in garter stitch, i.e., all rows are knit stitches.

For the back, I cast on 48 stitches in cream color and knit 1 row, then change to gray and knit 2 rows in gray, then 2 rows in purple. Next, I continue to knit in cream color on 48 stitches in garter stitch until the height is approximately 18 cm from the start of knitting.

We start to shape the armhole, for this, we close 4 stitches at the beginning of the next two rows. On the remaining 40 stitches, we knit to a height of about 30 cm from the start of work. Then we shape the neckline with short rows. In my case, I knit 17 stitches, turn the piece to the other side, yarn over, knit 13 stitches, turn, yarn over, 10 stitches, turn, yarn over, 6 stitches, turn, yarn over, knit the entire row to the end, while knitting the yarn overs together with the adjacent stitch, close 13 stitches. One shoulder is ready. Then, while knitting the yarn overs together with the adjacent stitch, I knit the row to the end with knit stitches. Then I knit the second shoulder similarly to the first.

I close the shoulder, and at the neckline, I knit the yarn overs together with the adjacent stitch. I do not close the stitches at the neckline but leave them on the needle; the back is ready. For the front, I cast on 31 stitches in cream color and knit 1 row, change to gray and knit 2 rows in gray, then 2 rows in purple. Next, I continue to knit in cream color on 31 stitches in garter stitch until the height is about 7 cm. The next knit row is as follows: 1 knit, 2 together knit, yarn over, 7 knit, 2 together knit, yarn over, and knit to the end, in the purl row, I also knit the yarn overs as knit stitches. We have created buttonholes. I repeat such rows with buttonholes every 7 cm. Having knitted 8.5 cm from the edge, I knit a knit row as follows: knit 16 stitches, close 12 stitches, and knit the remaining 3 stitches as knit stitches. Thus, we have created an opening for the pocket. Now we need to knit the pocket itself (this will be its inner part, like a lining).

For the pocket, I cast on 14 stitches and knit about 6 cm in garter stitch. Here is our little pocket. Now we need to insert it into the place of the closed stitches on the front. We simply place it on the same needle. Next, we knit 2 stitches from the front, then together the last stitch from the front and the first from the pocket; we do this to avoid creating a hole at the junction. Then we knit the pocket stitches, and the last stitch of the pocket we again knit together with the first stitch of the front, completing the row. So our pocket is knitted, and here is what it should look like: the front side and the back side.

Next, we continue to knit the front in garter stitch until a height of 18 cm from the beginning; at this height, we close 4 stitches for the armhole and continue to knit on 27 stitches for another 8.5 cm. We start shaping the neckline with short rows. In the purl row, we knit 19 stitches, turn, yarn over, knit to the end, 17 stitches, turn, yarn over, knit to the end, 16 stitches, turn, yarn over, to the end, 15 stitches, turn, yarn over, to the end, 15 stitches, turn, yarn over, to the end, 14 stitches, turn, yarn over, to the end, 14 stitches, turn, yarn over, 10 stitches, turn, yarn over, 10 stitches, turn, yarn over, 5 stitches, turn, yarn over, 5 stitches, turn, knit the row to the end, knitting the yarn over together with the adjacent stitch. We close 13 stitches of the shoulder, knit the row to the end, knitting the yarn over together with the adjacent stitch (in places where there are 2 yarn overs in a row, I knit the first yarn over as an independent stitch and the second together with the last stitch). Thus, the shoulder is closed, and the stitches at the neckline are left open on the needle. The front is ready.

The second front is knitted symmetrically, but we do not make buttonholes. And at the end of the neckline, we need to additionally knit a purl row so that when casting on the stitches for the hood, all details end with a purl row. Next, we place all the neckline details on one needle: front, back, front. The first knit row of the hood I knit as follows: 7 knit stitches, increase, *(knit stitch, increase)* repeat until there are 7 stitches left on the needle, knit them without increases. Next, we continue to knit the hood straight without increasing to the desired height. For me, it is 22 cm. We sew the shoulders and the seam on the hood. Don't forget, where the turn is, the seam should be on the other side. You can immediately sew on the pockets and crochet the edges of the fronts and the hood.

Next, we cast on stitches for the sleeve; I have 46 stitches. The central 16 stitches of the sleeve are knitted according to the following scheme, the remaining stitches are in garter stitch. I make decreases on the sleeve by 1 stitch on each side of the sleeve in every 12th row. After 20 cm from the start of the sleeve, in the knit row, I knit as follows: 12 knit, 2 together knit, 2 knit, 2 together knit, 2 knit, 2 together knit, 2 knit, 2 together knit, 12 knit. Then I continue to knit in garter stitch. After 2 cm in the purl row, I change the yarn to purple and knit 2 rows, change the yarn to gray - 2 rows, 1 row cream, close the sleeve. I knit the second sleeve similarly to the first. We sew the sleeves and the sides of the jacket, sew on the buttons, and wash it. Our jacket is almost ready. All that is left is to knit the bow tie and sew it onto the jacket. The bow tie is crocheted according to this scheme: (I drew it for the first time in the MyCrochet program, so forgive me how I could)
