Description I found on the internet
Threads approximately 90m/50g, 3 skeins, if the threads are thinner, the product will be small, but you can increase the number of cast-on stitches and the length of the raglan for the corresponding size.
Size – 2 years, height 92cm. If you knit shorter in length, it will become a t-shirt.
Description:
For the neckline, cast on 69 stitches,
Knit 1 row with knit stitches,
Distribute stitches for the raglan:
2nd row edge stitch, 10 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 11 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 21 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 11 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 10 knit, edge stitch.
3rd row knit with purl stitches (according to the pattern)
4th row: edge stitch, 11 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 13 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 23 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 13 knit, yarn over, central raglan stitch yarn over, 11 knit, edge stitch.
5th row knit with purl stitches (according to the pattern).
In total, I have a raglan line of 12 yarn overs – that is 24 rows.
I have a button on the back – it can be done without it, just connect in a circle.
About 10 rows later, I joined in a circle and on the back I knitted short rows between the raglan lines so that the back neckline was higher than the front neckline.
26th row – knit the back, close the sleeve stitches, knit the front, close the sleeve stitches.
27th row knit the back, 1 yarn over, knit the front, 1 yarn over – close the knitting in a circle – then continue to knit the back again.
28th row knit the back, from the yarn over knit 2 knit stitches, knit the front, from the yarn over knit 2 knit stitches.
Then I knitted until the yarn ran out, adding 2 stitches on each side every 4 rows (knit the back stitches, yarn over in a twisted knit, 2 middle side stitches, again yarn over, and likewise knit the front stitches).
The last rows are knitted in garter stitch for 3 rows and close the stitches with purl stitches.
k-knit,
c. p.-central raglan stitch
Diagram of the main pattern:
Pattern diagram if knitted as raglan from the top:
I knit with size 2 needles, as I knit loosely.
I cast on 91 stitches. I distributed the stitches as follows: edge – 16 stitches back – 2 stitches raglan line – 9 stitches sleeve – 2 stitches raglan line – 31 stitches front – 2 – 9 stitches sleeve – 2 – 16 – edge.
This is what I did when knitting the short rows on the back, it helps to avoid holes.
