Front piece: cast on 160 stitches for the lower frill, knit 24 rows in stockinette stitch. In the last row, knit all stitches 2 together = 80 stitches. Continue knitting in stockinette stitch for another 20 rows. Set the stitches aside. Knit the second frill similarly, immediately after decreasing the stitches connect it with the first frill. To do this, place the stitches of the first frill under the stitches of the second frill and knit 1 stitch from each needle together. After this, knit another 20 rows in stockinette stitch and set the stitches aside. Knit the third frill similarly. After decreasing the stitches, connect the third frill with the two lower ones as before, and continue knitting in stockinette stitch. After 40 rows, knit a lace row for the hem: knit *2 stitches together knit, yarn over*, repeat *-*. Knit another 6 rows in stockinette stitch and bind off all stitches. Back piece: knit similarly. Assembly: sew the side seams. Fold the top edge of the skirt along the lace row to the wrong side and hem it, inserting elastic. First, measure the child's waist and hip circumference. The measurements will be approximately equal, as little girls have not rounded hips and their tummy sticks out (I know from my little one))))) For example, the number is 67 cm. Then we calculate the knitting density, for which we knit a sample of 10*10 cm in stockinette stitch. For example, 1 cm = 4 stitches. Therefore, 67 cm = 268 stitches. As far as I understand correctly, this flounce is knitted from the bottom, that is, starting from the wide part. Cast on the required number of stitches (for our example, it will be 268 stitches multiplied by 2, i.e. 536 stitches), knit 6 rows in garter stitch, and then knit in stockinette stitch for another 5-7 cm.
