Jacket
Back: on needles No. 3 cast on 70 (76-80) stitches and for the lower hem knit 1 cm = 3 rows in stockinette stitch (see page A2), starting with a purl row; then for the fold knit 1 knit row using purl stitches, then again knit 1 cm = 2 rows in stockinette and 2 rows of garter stitch (see page A2). Next, continue on needles No. 3.5 with fine seed stitch. After 13 (14-15) cm = 60 (64-70) rows from the lower hem, increase on both sides by 1 stitch and in every 2nd row 2 times by 1 stitch = 76 (82-86) stitches. After 22 (23-24) cm = 102 (106-112) rows from the lower hem, bind off for armholes on both sides 3 stitches and in every 2nd row 1 x 2 and 1 x 1 stitch = 64 (70-74) stitches. After 15 (16-16) cm = 66 (60-64) rows from the start of the armholes, bind off the remaining 60 (66-70) stitches.
Left front: on needles No. 3 cast on 39 (42-45) stitches and for the lower hem knit 1 cm = 3 rows in stockinette, starting with a purl row; then for the fold knit 1 knit row using purl stitches, then again knit 1 cm = 2 rows in stockinette and 2 rows of garter. Then on needles No. 3.5 knit and distribute stitches as follows: edge stitch, 2 (5-8) stitches of fine seed pattern, 6 stitches of pattern "Cable", 13 stitches of pattern "Leaf with bobbles" in purl (see page A2), 6 stitches of pattern "Cable", 9 (12-15) stitches of fine seed pattern, edge stitch. After 13 cm = 56 rows from the hem, work 2 repeats of the leaf with "bobbles" height on 13 stitches of the leaf with "bobbles" in stockinette. Simultaneously, after 13 (14-15) cm = 60 (64-70) rows from the hem for the neckline slope decrease from the left edge once by 3 stitches, then in every 2nd row 1 x 2, 1 x 1, 3 (4-4) x 1 and 3 (2-2) x 1 stitches. After 5.5 (7-8.5) cm = 30 (34-38) rows from the start of the armhole, bind off for the neckline from the left edge once 8 (9-11) stitches and in every 2nd row 1 time 3 stitches and 1 time 2 stitches. After 5.5 cm = 26 rows from the start of the neckline, bind off the remaining 26 stitches.
Right front: knit symmetrically to the left front.
Sleeves: on needles No. 3 cast on for each sleeve 43 (47-49) stitches and for the lower hem knit 1 cm = 3 rows in stockinette, starting with a purl row; then for the fold knit 1 knit row using purl stitches, then again knit 1 cm = 2 rows in stockinette and 2 rows of garter. Next, on needles No. 3.5 distribute stitches as follows: edge stitch, 5 (7-8) stitches of purl fabric, 3 (5-6) stitches of fine seed pattern, edge stitch. After 12 cm = 56 rows from the hem, increase on both sides of the edge 1 time by 1 stitch and in every 8th row 6 (3-2) x 1 stitch = 57 (57-57) stitches. After 15 (14-13) cm = 68 (64-60) rows from the edge, bind off for the sleeve cap on both sides 1 time 3 stitches, then in every 2nd row 1 x 2 stitches, 10 x 1 stitch and 2 x 2 stitches. After 5 (5-6) cm = 24 (24-28) rows from the start of the cap, bind off the remaining 21 (29-23) stitches.

along garter stitch, then bind off the stitches as stockinette. Fold the lower edges of the jacket and sleeves along the fold line inward and sew. Sew in the sleeves, then sew the sleeve seams and side seams. On circular needles No. 3 pick up along the edges of the fronts and along the narrow edges of the neckline 60 (65-70) stitches and knit 2.5 cm = 6 rounds in garter stitch, with 5 buttonholes on the placket of the right front (bind off for the loop 1 stitch and in the next row again cast on 1 stitch): make the first buttonhole 1 cm from the lower edge, the others at 5 cm intervals. Work description: on double-pointed needles No. 3 cast on 72 (102-112) stitches, distribute evenly across 4 needles = 18 (25/26/25/26-28) stitches on each needle and for the cuff knit 3 cm = 10 rounds in ribbing. In the last round of the cuff evenly increase 32 (30-32) stitches = 104 (132-144) stitches. Next, knit on double-pointed needles No. 4 with a small seed pattern, while simultaneously work from *: 3 stitches of stockinette, 1 "bobble" = 5 stitches drawn from 1 stitch (= alternately 1 knit, 1 yarn over), turn the work, 5 purl, turn, 5 knit, turn, 2 stitches knit together, 3 stitches knit together, then draw the three knitted-together stitches over the two knitted-together stitches) then continue from * repeatedly. In the next round, evenly increase 4 (3-0) stitches = 108 (135-144) stitches and distribute as: *3 stitches of stockinette, 6 stitches of pattern "Cable", repeat from *. After 6 (6-7.5) cm = 22 (22-28) rounds from the start of the "Cable" pattern (i.e., in the 23 (23-29) round – in the purl row of the "Cable" pattern) in every purl row, knit 2 stitches together purlwise and perform decreases in the following round as: 3 stitches knitted together, 1 knit, then 2 stitches knitted together, 5 knit, repeat from *. In the next 3rd round, the last 2 stitches of the knit stitches knit together with the previous stitch accordingly = 60 (75-80) stitches. Repeat this decrease similarly in every 2nd round 2 more times = 36 (45-48) stitches. In the next 2nd round, knit the last purl stitch together with the previous stitch = 24 (30-32) stitches. In the next 2nd round, knit 2 stitches together = 12 (15-16) stitches. The remaining 12 (15-16) stitches pull tight with the working thread.
