BERET WITH A NEW WAY OF KNITTING THE CROWN

Beret with a new way for me to knit the crown of the beret. I immediately started knitting a beret for my mom using this method. The final result will come later, but for now, here is the method.

The idea is: the beret is knitted clockwise (with a seam expected at the back), while simultaneously increasing one new wedge and decreasing the previous one (of course, for the first wedge, there is only an increase).

The process of making the wedge is elementary:

1) Form the first wedge. In each knit row, we knit 1 yarn over + the number of knit stitches accumulated through yarn overs in previous rows. That is, in the first row, just 1 yarn over, in the second 1 yarn over + 1 knit stitch, in the third - 1 yarn over + 2 knit stitches, and so on. 

2) Knit the subsequent wedges. It is assumed that there are 6 of them. But I think no one is limited in any way.

To form the next wedge, in each knit row, we knit 1 yarn over + the number of knit stitches accumulated through yarn overs in previous rows + 2 knit together and turn the knitting without completing the row.

That is, the first row of the new wedge will be 1 yarn over + 2 knit together - turn the knitting, the second row: 1 yarn over + 1 knit stitch + 2 knit together - turn the knitting, and so on.

Thus, the previous wedge is decreased and a new one is formed.

When closing the stitches of the last wedge, I did it this way: I closed one stitch, took a stitch from the yarn over and closed it immediately, then again closed the main stitch, took from the yarn over again and closed it, and so on. Maybe there is a more correct way, but this one worked too
