Description of the "hedgehog" stitch:
Row 1 – ribbing 1x1 (1 edge, 1 knit, 1 purl,…, finish with 1 knit, 1 edge).
Row 2 – knit stitches are knitted, purl stitches are slipped with a yarn over without knitting.
Row 3 – to the stitch with one yarn over, we add a second yarn over and transfer the stitch to the right needle without knitting, purl stitches are knitted as knit.
Row 4 – the stitch with two yarn overs is knitted as purl, purl stitches are knitted as knit.

Cast on 88 stitches on circular needles No. 3 (tightly), knit ribbing 2*2 to a height of 7 cm, then switch to needles No. 4.5 and knit the "hedgehog" stitch... without adding stitches (the stitch is voluminous), knit loosely for 12 cm (this is exactly 12 repeats of the hedgehog in height), then in the 13th repeat of the hedgehog, close 3 stitches together (i.e. one hedgehog bobble) 15 times, then knit two repeats in height of the hedgehog without additions and in the 16th repeat close 10 times 3 stitches (i.e. 10 hedgehog bobbles), then knit one repeat of the hedgehogs in height without additions and after the 17th repeat, gather all stitches on a thread and pull tight. In height, it turned out to be 17 repeats of the hedgehog, which is 17 cm... the circumference of the beret turned out to be 80 cm, the circumference of the ribbing is 53 cm.
