Dress Sizes: 38/40 (46/48)

You will need: 500 (650) g of "Melone" yarn from LAINES DU NORD, coral color - Fb 19 (40% merino wool, 30% viscose, 20% milk protein, 10% silk, 100 m/50 g); straight and circular needles No. 5. Stockinette stitch: right side - knit, wrong side - purl. Reverse stockinette stitch: right side - purl, wrong side - knit. Lace pattern A (for 3 stitches): Row 1: 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch as knit, knit 2 stitches together and pull the slipped stitch over this stitch, 1 yarn over. Rows 2 and 4: knit stitches and yarn overs. Row 3: repeat from rows 1 to 4. Lace pattern B (for 2 stitches): knit as lace pattern A, but row 1 is worked as follows: knit 2 stitches together through the back loop (= slip 1 stitch as knit, knit 1 stitch and pull the slipped stitch over this knit stitch), 1 yarn over. Lace pattern C (for 2 stitches): knit as lace pattern A, but row 1 is worked as follows: 1 yarn over, knit 2 together. Lace pattern: Number of stitches is a multiple of 16 + 1 + 2 edge stitches. Knit according to the chart, which shows the right side rows. In the wrong side rows, knit all stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs. Start with 1 edge stitch and stitches before the repeat, repeat the repeat, finish with stitches after the repeat and 1 edge stitch. Repeat 1 time from rows 1 to 20, then from rows 7 to 20. Knitting density: stockinette stitch: 18 stitches and 23.5 rows = 10 * 10 cm, lace patterns: 17 stitches and 23.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

BACK

Using a crosswise cast on, cast on 123 (14) stitches and knit in the following sequence: edge stitch, * 11 stitches of purl stitch, 3 stitches of knit stitch, 10 stitches of purl stitch, repeat from * 4 (5) times, 1 stitch of purl stitch, edge stitch. For waist shaping, after 12 cm = 28 rows from the cast on edge, evenly decrease 10 (12) stitches as follows: knit together 2 last stitches before and 2 first stitches after each knit stitch section = 113 (135) stitches. Repeat these decreases 3 more times every 26 rows = 83 (99) stitches. At the same time, after 24 cm = 56 rows from the cast on edge, continue knitting in the following sequence: the first 2 stitches after the edge stitch in lace pattern B, 4 (5) times the middle 3 stitches of each purl stitch section in lace pattern A, and the last two stitches before the edge stitch in lace pattern C. After 45 cm = 106 rows from the cast on edge, continue knitting lace pattern over all stitches, transitioning the knit stitch and lace strip harmoniously into the lace pattern leaf. After 58.5 cm from the cast on edge, for the armhole, bind off 4 stitches on both sides, then in every 2nd row, bind off 1 time 3 stitches, 2 times 2 stitches, and 2 times 1 stitch, after this in the next 4 rows bind off 1 more time 1 stitch. At a height of 75 (78) cm from the cast on edge, for the neck opening, bind off the middle 17 (21) stitches and finish each side separately. For rounding off on the inner edge, bind off in every 2nd row 1 time 3 and 1 time 2 stitches. After 77.5 (80.5) from the cast on edge, bind off the remaining 14 (20) stitches for the shoulder.

FRONT

Start the same way, but with a deeper neckline. To do this, already after 63 (66) cm from the cast on edge, bind off the middle 13 (17) stitches and in every 2nd row, 1 time 2 stitches and 3 times 1 stitch, then in every 4 rows, bind off 2 times 1 stitch.

 SLEEVES

Cast on 43 (53) stitches and for the cuff 1.5 = 3 rows, knit in purl stitch, starting with 1 purl row and in the last row, evenly increase by 6 stitches = 49 (59) stitches. Then knit in the following sequence: edge stitch, * 2 stitches in purl stitch, 3 stitches of lace pattern A, repeat from * 8 (10) times, 2 stitches of purl stitch, edge stitch. At the same time, for the sleeve shaping, increase on both sides of the cuff in every 2nd row 3 times by 1 purl stitch = 55 (65) stitches. After 3.5 cm from the cuff, bind off for the armhole on both sides 2 stitches and in every 2nd row 3 times by 1 stitch, then in every 4th row 3 (2) times by 1 stitch and in every 2nd row 4 (5) times by 1, 1 (2) times by 2 and 1 time by 3 stitches. After 17 cm from the cuff, bind off the remaining 21 (27) stitches.
