Lace dress knitted with needlesKlubokhttp://klubok.work/1/100/8250/Klubokhttps://klubok.work/css/image/top-logo-en.pngFor knitting, I chose Kauni 8/1 yarn in three colors: two solids and one with a gradient, as I really wanted a gradient effect. Since I was knitting on a machine and the yarn is very uneven, in some places as thick as sewing thread, I encountered several difficulties, the main one being the thread breaking during the carriage movement... I had to start over twice. If someone reading this thinks that knitting on a machine is easy, just "sit there and move the carriage," they are very mistaken. All patterns were done with manual deckering, and I worked on the dress for 7 days without breaks. But it was worth it!
The dress features three main patterns and their combinations. I would like to explain how I selected the color transition to match both halves of the dress, measuring the required piece from the skein with electronic scales.
For the dress, I found many options for openwork diamonds and took a long time to select the right ones. I mainly used these patterns, but made some adjustments during the knitting process.

There are also these schemes, which may be useful to someone
In total, the dress has 450 rows in each half, for the skirt I cast on 179 stitches, and for the top and sleeves 99 each. I knitted at maximum tension on a class 5 machine (~ corresponds to needles 5-6, depending on your tension). The circumference of the skirt hem is 170 cm, and the length of the dress from the back is 150 cm. The total weight of the dress is only 345 g.
The dress was finished at the very last moment, an hour before the deadline for submissions, so the photos were taken quickly in 10 minutes, please don't judge too harshly
