Stylish dress knitted with raglan sleeves

 Sizes 

38-40 and 44-46.

The length of the dress with a collar is 84 cm.

The data for size 44-46 is given in parentheses.

If only one value is indicated, it applies to both sizes.

You will need: 

600 (700) g of yarn type LINIE 20 CORA in melange gray color number 235, needles No. 6-7 and circular needles No. 6-7 with a length of 60 cm. (This model is knitted with thicker needles and more loosely than indicated on the label).

Pattern for the band: alternating 1 purl st., 1 knit st.

Main pattern:

Purl stitch: knit purl stitches in knit rows, knit knit stitches in purl rows.

Ribbing: Number of stitches is a multiple of 3.

1st row (purl): knit purl.

2nd row: * 1 knit st., insert the needle 1 row below and knit 1 st. knit, 1 knit st., repeat from *.

Repeat the 1st and 2nd rows.

Cable: (for 6 sts.)

1st row (purl): knit purl.

2nd row: leave 2 sts. in front of work, 2 knit sts., then knit the stitches from the helper needle knit, 2 knit sts.

3rd row: knit purl.

4th row: 2 knit sts., leave 2 sts. behind work, 2 knit sts., then knit the stitches from the helper needle knit.

Repeat from 1st to 4th rows.

Special decreases I:

At the beginning of the row after the edge st., 2 purl sts., 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 sts. together purl.

At the end of the row before the last 6 sts. knit 2 sts. together purl, 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 purl sts., edge st.

Special increases I:

At the beginning of the row after the edge st., 2 purl sts., 3 sts. in ribbing, increase from the transverse thread 1 purl st. twisted.

At the end of the row before the last 6 sts. increase from the transverse thread 1 purl st. twisted, 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 purl sts., edge st.

Special decreases and increases II:

At the beginning of the row after the edge st., increase from the transverse thread 1 knit st. twisted, then 2 purl sts. and 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 sts. together purl.

At the end of the row before the 3 sts. of ribbing, knit 2 sts. together purl, 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 purl sts., increase from the transverse thread 1 knit st. twisted, edge st.

Special decreases III:

At the beginning of the row after the edge st., 6 sts. in cable pattern, 2 purl sts., 3 sts. in ribbing, then 2 sts. together purl.

At the end of the row before the ribbing knit 2 sts. together purl, 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 purl sts., 6 sts. in cable pattern, edge st.

Knitting density:

main pattern: 12 sts. and 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

ribbing: 15 sts. and 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

cable pattern: 6 sts. = 3 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 69 (77) sts., start with a purl row and distribute the stitches as follows:

edge st., 1 purl st., 1 knit st., 3 sts. in ribbing, * 1 knit st., 1 purl st., knit from * 10x (12x) times, 1 knit st., 3 sts. in ribbing, 1 knit st., 1 purl st., 1 knit st., 3 sts. in ribbing, 1 knit st., 1 purl st., 1 knit st., 3 sts. in ribbing, ** 1 knit st., 1 purl st., knit from ** 10x (12x) times, 1 knit st., 3 sts. in ribbing, 1 knit st., 1 purl st., edge st.

After 10 cm of the main pattern and ribbing, continue knitting as follows: edge st., 2 purl sts., 3 sts. in ribbing, 21 (25) purl sts., 3 sts. in ribbing, 1 purl st., 1 knit st., 1 purl st., 3 sts. in ribbing, 1 purl st., 1 knit st., 1 purl st., 3 sts. in ribbing, 21 (25) purl sts., 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 purl sts., edge st.

To shape the waist, perform special decrease I:

On both sides in the 8th row, perform a decrease 1x, in every 6th row – 3 times = 61 (69) sts.

Perform special increases I:

On both sides increase in every 8th row 4x 1 st. = 69 (77) sts.

After 38 (36) cm of total length on both sides perform special decreases and increases II in every 2nd row = 69 (77) sts.

On both sides increase 6 sts. for the cable.

For the raglan slope after 44 (42) cm of total length perform special decreases III:

1x in the next row, then in every 4th row 4x (2x), in every 2nd row 10x (16x). 

After 64 cm of total length, put aside the remaining 39 sts.

Front: 

Work as for the back.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 30 (36) sts. and knit 10 cm in ribbing.

Continue with the main pattern, and for the sleeve slope on both sides increase in every 6th row 7x (11x) 1 st., in every 4th row 3x (0x) 1 st. = 50 (58) sts.

The first 5 (6) increased stitches of the main pattern, the other 5 increased stitches gradually work on 3 sts. in ribbing and 2 purl sts.

For the raglan slope after 41 (39) cm of total length perform special decreases I: 1x in the next row, then in every 4th row 4x (2x), in every 2nd row 10x (16x).

After 61 cm of total length, put aside the remaining 20 sts. [cut]

Assembly of the dress parts: 

Carefully sew the raglan seams.

Complete the side seams and sleeve seams.

For the collar, pick up the set aside 118 sts. from all parts onto circular needles and knit the stitches according to the pattern, knitting 8 edge sts. with the previous or next stitch together knit or purl, according to the pattern, and in the middle of the sleeve knit 2 sts. together purl = 108 sts.

On the other 7 purl sts. in the middle of the sleeve knit 2 purl sts., 3 sts. in ribbing, 2 purl sts., knit the other stitches according to the pattern.

After 20 cm of collar length, bind off all stitches.
