Knitted poncho

The knitted pullover-poncho consists of two identical pieces.

To knit the pullover-poncho with sleeves you will need 900 g of yarn (85% wool, 15% mohair; 50 g/60 m), circular needles No. 7, a set of double-pointed needles No. 7, a button to match the yarn.

Front: on circular needles cast on 92 stitches.
Knit in knit and purl rows according to the chart.
At a height of 50 cm bind off 24 stitches on the right side (the last 3 stitches of the braid should be worked as 2 knit stitches, edge stitch).
Another 20 cm later bind off the stitches according to the pattern: knits over knits, purls over purls.

Back: knit as the front, but the neckline stitches bind off on the left side.

Sleeves-cuffs: cast on 48 stitches on double-pointed needles, distribute them onto 4 needles, place a marker at the beginning of the round.
Knit in the round in ribbing: (2 knit, 1 purl) — 2 times, (2 knit, 2 purl) — 9 times, (2 knit, 1 purl) — 2 times.
Knit this way to a height of 20 cm.
Bind off the stitches according to the pattern.

Assembly: seam the shoulders (50 cm on each side from the neckline).
Set in the sleeves.

Collar: with circular needles along the edge of the neckline, starting from the center front, pick up 78 stitches.
Knit in rows in ribbing to a height of 20 cm.
Bind off the stitches according to the knitting pattern.
Along the edge of the collar, make buttonholes and sew on a button.
