Pillow 'Star'

 Knit on circular needles, using purl and knit stitches. The pillow will measure about 30–33 cm from tip to tip.

Cast-on
Cast on 110 stitches in the usual way. Even out the cast-on stitches and join in the round.

Materials
✓ Knitting yarn Biskvit 1 skein
✓ Circular needles 80 cm
✓ Crochet hook size 5
✓ Hollofiber 100 g

Main pattern
Row 1 – 1 purl, 21 knit. Repeat the pattern five times in each row.
Row 2 – 1 purl, 9 knit, decrease over three stitches, 9 knit. We knit a three-stitch decrease: slip two stitches from the left needle to the right – first the second, then the middle, knit them all together through the back loops.

Next, continue decreasing in every row until there are 10 stitches left on the needles from the decreases and purl stitches. With a crochet hook, thread the yarn through all the stitches and pull tight to close the resulting ring. Use the crochet hook to pull the yarn to the wrong side and secure the end.

At this point, one side of the pillow is finished. Similarly, knit the second side.

Finishing
To join the halves: place both pieces with the wrong sides facing each other, pick up along one edge by the half-stitch of the first row, resulting in a seamless edge along the ray. When picking up stitches under the braid along both sides of the stitches, you will get a nice edge-slight stretch. On the front side of the first piece you will see contrasting stripes of elongated stitches. Hide and secure the yarn end.

Filling
Fill with hollofiber; the amount depends on the desired density of the star pillow.

Care
The pillow knitted from knitting yarn can be washed on a delicate cycle with a liquid detergent. Do not wring too hard. Dry in a well-ventilated area. By hand shape each ray of the star.
