Turban Headband Knitting Quickly and Easily Klubokhttp://klubok.work/1/200/8397/Klubokhttps://klubok.work/css/image/top-logo-en.pngOne of the popular styles of knitted headbands is the women's turban. They are made from scarves, chiffon, knitwear, and even fur. And, of course, knitters cannot pass by an eye-catching model. Knitting a turban headband is so simple that even a beginner knitter can handle it, especially if they carefully read the pattern and description.
In this master class, I will not suggest a specific yarn. Use any that you have on hand. Perhaps you have a leftover ball from knitting a sweater — put it to use. The only size for the headband is its length. The width can vary.
For this model, 26 stitches were cast on, including two edge stitches.
Knit the first stitch, then continue with a 2x2 ribbing (2 knit, 2 purl), and knit the last stitch as purl.
Knit for 20-22 cm, then divide the stitches in half and continue knitting each half separately for about 6 cm in length.
When both halves are ready, overlap one half over the other and then knit both parts together. Close the stitches and sew the first and last rows together.
