HOW TO BEAUTIFULLY DECORATE A RAGLAN LINE WHEN KNITTING WITH NEEDLEShttp://klubok.work/1/203/6172/Klubok

Raglan line "Ladder".

Cast on 40 stitches.
Row 1 – at the beginning and end of the piece, knit 5 purl stitches, the rest – knit stitches.
Rows 2, 3, 4 – as pattern.
Row 5 – at the beginning of the piece, knit 3 together purlwise, 4 purlwise, then in knit stitch. When 7 stitches remain, 4 of them purlwise, the other 3 together purlwise.
Rows 6, 7, 8 – as pattern
Row 9 – repeat from Row 5. Decrease stitches every 3 rows.

Raglan line with "Twisting".

Cast on 40 stitches.
Row 1 – 1 purl, 2 knit (away from you), the next 2 stitches slip to the right needle, then place on the left needle first the slipped stitches and then the stitches from the right needle and knit these 4 stitches: 3 knit, and the 4th with the next 2 – 3 purl (in the middle). The remaining stitches in knit stitch.
When 7 stitches are left to the end of the work: 4 knit (towards you), the next 2 stitches slip to the right needle, then place on the left needle 2 stitches from the slipped ones towards you. Then knit: 3 purl knit, 3 knit, 1 purl.
Rows 2, 3, 4 – as pattern
Row 5 – repeat from Row 1.

Raglan line with elongated stitches.

Cast on 16 stitches.
Rows 1 and 2 – stockinette stitch.
Row 3 – 4 knit, Y, 1 knit, Y, 1 knit, Y, 2 knit (raglan), Y, 1 knit, Y, 1 knit, Y, 4 knit, i.e. on both sides of the raglan stitches, make 3 yarn overs after every knit stitch.
Row 4 – purl stitch. Knit the yarn overs without holes.
Row 5 – 4 knit, skip 4 knit and from the 5th stitch (i.e., the 3rd yarn over) knit one knit stitch.
Explanation: Pull this stitch out, then knit the four skipped stitches, 2 knit (raglan), then pull the first stitch out and place it on a pin towards you, knit 4 stitches in knit stitch. Place the slipped stitch on the right needle and knit all stitches in knit stitch to the end of the row.
Rows 6, 7, 8 – stockinette stitch.
Row 9 – repeat from Row 3

Raglan line "Tree".

For practice, cast on 13 stitches.
Row 1 – 5 knit, 1 purl, 5 knit.
Row 2 and all even rows – stockinette stitch, and Y knit in knit stitch
Row 3 – 5 knit, Y, 1 purl, Y, 5 knit.
Row 5 – 5 knit, Y, 3 purl, Y, 5 knit.
Row 7 – 5 knit, Y, 5 purl, Y, 5 knit.
Row 9 – 5 knit, Y, 7 purl, Y, 5 knit.
Row 11 – 5 knit, Y, 9 purl, Y, 5 knit.
Row 13 – 10 knit, Y, 1 purl, Y, 10 knit.
Row 15 – repeat from Row 5.
In the future, every 5 knit rows, the pattern repeats, and the number of knit stitches increases by 5 knit stitches due to the purls.
Note: To obtain a lacy raglan line, knit the yarn overs through the back loop (long).
For tight knitting – through the front loop (short). In the center, instead of purl stitches, knit only knit stitches, and knit the yarn overs through the back loop.
