Here I decided to showcase a restored little stool????

. When we bought the summer house, we got old stools with a plywood seat. At first, I bought cushions for them, but they were very uncomfortable since they were larger than the seat. Then I remembered that my great-grandmother had knitted seat covers and decided to replicate that. Of course, it didn't turn out as beautifully as hers, but it's also quite nice... that's what I think????

I am working on another similar seat cover... A brief description???? Stool 30×30, yarn Alize lanagold (leftovers). I apologize for the pun, but the design had been in my head, I will describe it as best as I can????

We cast on 59 stitches with 2.5 mm needles and knit: Row 1: 28 knit, 1 purl, 29 knit. Row 2: knit, 27 purl, 3 together to make the braid on top, 28 knit. Row 3 and all odd rows according to the pattern. In all knit rows, we decrease where the braid is. This way, the stitches will finish, and a square will form. On the side of the square, cast on 30 stitches again + 29 free stitches.  A 3 cm band is knitted around the edge, the last knit row: 2 together, yarn over. An elastic band is inserted.

And here's another idea, but for a different stool???? Author Natali Potyomkina
