How to connect a false kettle?

We knit a 1x1 ribbing to the desired height (example with 7 rows)
1st row: Make a yarn over and 1 knit stitch and continue until the end of the row (all stitches should be knitted knit), the number of stitches should double to half the stitches.
2nd row: We knit the yarn over with a purl stitch through the front loop, we slip the knit stitch with the yarn in back and continue until the end of the row.
3rd row: We knit the knit stitch, slip the purl stitch with the yarn in front.
4th and 5th rows: knit similarly to the 2nd and 3rd rows, that is, we knit a hollow ribbing.
6th row: We knit 2 stitches together as a purl stitch to create a purl, the number of stitches should become what it was originally. Then we continue to knit the product with the main pattern.
