To create beautiful stripes on this knitted lace jumper, it is necessary to use two threads, and to achieve a soft transition of color, one of the threads is changed. The wave effect is achieved thanks to the leaf pattern.

Knitting a lace jumper. You will need: 200 g of pink, 150 g each of white and lilac, and 50 g of gray yarn Venezia (50% mohair, 50% polyacrylic, 130 m/50 g); straight and circular needles No. 6.
Knitting a lace jumper. Leaf pattern: the number of stitches is a multiple of 19 + 6 + edge stitch. Knit according to the pattern, which shows the right and wrong sides. Start with the stitches before the repeat, repeat the repeat 3 times, finishing with the stitches after the repeat, the first and last stitches are edge stitches. Repeat once from the 1st to the 40th row, then repeat from the 9th to the 24th row, at the same time symmetrically add stitches before and after 3 repeats: knit 1 wrong crossed from the transverse thread (also see the instructions). Knitting a lace jumper. Sequence of stripe alternation: 34 rows of white yarn, 16 rows of double yarn (1 white and 1 pink), 16 rows of pink yarn in 2 strands, 16 rows of double yarn (1 pink and 1 lilac), 16 rows of lilac yarn in 2 strands, 16 rows of double yarn (1 lilac and 1 gray) = a total of 114 rows. Stockinette stitch: right side - knit stitches, wrong side - purl stitches. Ribbing, circular rows: alternating 1 knit, 1 purl. Knitting a lace jumper. Knitting density, leaf pattern in sequence: 18 stitches and 21 rows = 10x10 cm. Knitting a lace jumper. Back. Cast on 84 stitches and knit with the leaf pattern in the specified sequence. To shape the waist, decrease 9 x 1 stitch on each side every 4th row, as indicated on the diagram (= 66 stitches). After 20.5 cm (= in the 44th row), increase for the side slopes on both sides by 1 stitch and in every 4th row 6 x 1 stitch (= 80 stitches). After 35 cm (= 74 rows) from the cast on edge, bind off 3 stitches for the armholes on both sides and in every 2nd row 2 x 2 and 1 x 1 stitch (= 64 stitches).
Knitting a lace jumper. Attention! The number of yarn overs must correspond to the number of knitted together stitches and vice versa. After 54.5 cm (= 114 rows) from the cast on edge, bind off all stitches; the middle 36 stitches form the neck opening, the outer 14 stitches on each side are the shoulders. Knitting a lace jumper. Front.
Knitting in the same way, but with a neck opening. For this, after 50.5 cm (= 106 rows) from the cast on edge, bind off the middle 24 stitches and finish both sides separately. To round off, bind off 1 x 3 and 1 x 1 stitch from the inner edge in every 2nd row.
Knitting a lace jumper. Sleeves.
Cast on 48 stitches and knit in the specified sequence, distributing the patterns as follows: edge stitch, 4 stitches of stockinette stitch, 38 stitches of the leaf pattern, starting from the 9th row and repeating the repeat 2 times, 4 stitches of stockinette stitch, edge stitch.
Knitting a lace jumper. Attention! First, knit for the sequence 24 rows with white yarn. After 7.5 cm (= 16 rows) from the cast on edge, increase for the sleeve slopes on both sides by 1 stitch and in every 10th row 4 x 1 stitch = 58 stitches, initially including the added stitches in stockinette stitch and after 56 rows in the pattern. After 38 cm (= 80 rows) from the cast on edge, bind off 3 stitches for the cap of the sleeve on both sides and in every 2nd row 2 x 2, 5 x 1, 1 x 3 and 1 x 4 stitches. After 47.5 cm (= 100 rows) from the cast on edge, bind off the remaining 20 stitches. Knitting a lace jumper. Assembly. Perform shoulder seams. Along the neck opening, cast on 68 stitches on circular needles, knit 2 cm of ribbing and then bind off all stitches according to the pattern. Set in the sleeves, perform side seams and sleeve seams.
