You will need:
• DROPS Fabel yarn from Garnstudio: 400-400-450-500-550-600 g – color 905 (black and white variegated yarn), 50-50-50-50-100-100 g - color 200 (gray)
• DROPS 3 mm straight needles – or size needed for a gauge of 24 sts x 48 rows in garter stitch = 10*10 cm
• DROPS 4 mm crochet hook – for edging.
• DROPS buttons No. 536: 2 pcs.

Turns:
Row 1/2: knit 50-55-60-65-70-78 sts, turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.
Row 3/4: knit 47-52-57-62-67-75 sts, turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.
Row 5/6: knit 45-50-55-60-65-73 sts, turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.
Row 7/8: knit 42-47-52-57-62-70 sts, turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.
Row 9/10: knit 40-45-50-55-60-68 sts, turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.
Continue in the same way, decreasing the number of knitted sts alternately by 2 and 3 each time until you reach the corresponding row:

Row 39/40: knit 2 sts, turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.
Row 41/42: knit all 52 sts, turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.

BACK
Knit in garter stitch, i.e., knit all rows. The back consists of two parts.
LOWER BACK PART
Cast on with Fabel yarn on 3 mm needles 52-57-62-67-72-80 sts. Knit in garter stitch back and forth for 40-44-48-53-58-65 cm. Remember the gauge! Bind off loosely.
UPPER BACK PART
Cast on 1 st approximately after every st of garter stitch at the upper edge of the lower back part. In the next row, adjust the number of sts to make it 98-108-118-130-142-158 sts (including 1 edge st on each side). Continue knitting in garter stitch on all sts. At a height of 2 cm from the cast-on sts, increase 1 st on each side, repeat at a height of 5 cm = 102-112-122-134-146-162 sts. When the total length of the piece reaches 35-36-37-38-39-40 cm (measure from the very bottom edge of the jacket), bind off sts for armholes on both sides at the beginning of each row: 4 sts 1-1-1-1-2-2 times, 2 sts 1-3-5-7-8-11 times, and 1 st 1-0-0-1-0-1 times = 88-92-94-96-98-100 sts.
At a height of 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm, bind off the middle 22-22-22-24-26-26 sts for the neckline and decrease 1 st in the next row = 32-34-35-35-35-36 sts for each shoulder. Bind off loosely at a height of 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm.
RIGHT FRONT
Knit in garter stitch, i.e., knit all rows.
Cast on with Fabel yarn on 3 mm needles 52-57-62-67-72-80 sts. Continue knitting Turns – see above (Row 1 = right side). Work according to the description of Turns (Rows 1 to 42-46-50-54-58-64) a total of 5 times, the length of the bend is now approximately 44-48-52-56-60-67 cm along the front edge. Place a marker and continue to knit back and forth on all sts. At a distance of 2 cm and 5 cm from the marker, increase 1 st on the side as for the back = 54-59-64-69-74-82 sts. At a height of 35-36-37-38-39-40 cm (measured along the side seam from the very bottom of the front piece of the jacket) – try to time it so that the next row is on the wrong side – bind off for armholes on the side, as on the back = 47-49-50-50-50-51 sts. Continue until the length of the piece reaches 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm. Bind off the outermost 32-34-35-35-35-36 sts for the shoulder and knit the remaining 15 sts = 15 sts for the collar. Knit short rows as follows (row 1 = right side): * 2 rows on all sts, 2 rows only on the 8 sts of the middle front *, repeat from * to * until the length of the collar reaches approximately 6-6-6-7-7-7 cm (measured from the short side) from the shoulder. Bind off.
LEFT FRONT
Cast on with Fabel yarn on 3 mm needles 52-57-62-67-72-80 sts. Knit 1 row knit and continue as described for the right front.
SLEEVE
Cast on with Fabel yarn on 3 mm needles 64-66-70-72-74-76 sts (including edge sts on each side). Continue in garter stitch, i.e., knit all rows. At a height of 8-8-10-10-10-6 cm, increase 1 st on each side every 4.5-3.5-3-2.5-2-2 cm a total of 9-11-12-14-16-18 times = 82-88-94-100-106-112 sts. At the same time at a height of 12-12-13-13-14-14 cm, continue with the Pattern «Garter stitch» – see above. At a height of 49-48-48-46-45-43 cm, bind off sts for the sleeve cap on each side at the beginning of each row as follows: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 4-3-3-2-0-0 times, and then 1 st on each side until the length of the piece reaches 54-54-56-56-57-58 cm. Bind off 2 sts on each side 3-3-2-1-0-0 times and 3 sts 1-1-1-1-1-0 times. Bind off the remaining sts.
ASSEMBLY
Sew the sleeve seams. Set in the sleeves and side seams at the edge sts. Sew the collar along the back seam and to the back piece. Sew the buttons onto the left front approximately 1 cm from the edge of the piece. Sew the first button at the transition between the last two repeats of the Turns, and the top button at the transition from the Turns to garter stitch.
CROCHET EDGING
Starting from the middle of the back, edge the jacket with gray Fabel yarn using a 4 mm crochet hook. Work along the collar, down the left front, along the bottom edge, up the right front, and further along the collar as follows:
Row 1: 1 sc, * 3 ch, skip approximately 1 cm, 1 sc in the next st *, repeat from * to *. Finish with 1 sl st in the first sc of the row.
Row 2: 4 ch, 1 dc in the first ch space, * 1 dc in the next ch space, 1 ch, 1 dc in the same space *, repeat from * to * and finish with 1 sl st in the 3rd ch from the beginning of the row.
Use the edging as buttonholes.
CROCHET EDGING FOR SLEEVES
Edge the edges of the sleeves in the same way.
