You will need: 1000 g of medium thickness olive wool yarn and a 15 cm zipper in tone, needles No. 4.5 and 5.

PATTERNS

Rib 2x2: knit alternately 2 knit, 2 purl. Purl rows are knitted according to the pattern.

Stockinette stitch (knit stitch): knit row – knit st., purl row – purl st.

Large pearl pattern (pearl pattern): knit alternately 1 knit, 1 purl, shifting the pattern every 1 row.

Fancy pattern: knit according to the chart.

GAUGE: 10 x 10 cm = 14 sts x 21

Back: On needles No. 4.5 cast on 74 sts and knit 6 cm in rib 2 x 2. Continue knitting with needles No. 5 in large pearl pattern, evenly increasing 4 sts in the 1st row = 78 sts. At a height of 44 cm from the start of knitting, bind off 7 sts on both sides for the armholes = 64 sts and knit straight. At a total height of 72 cm, bind off 15 sts for each shoulder and 34 sts for the neckline.

Front: On needles No. 4.5 cast on 74 sts and knit 6 cm in rib 2x2. Continue knitting with needles No. 5, evenly increasing 10 sts in the 1st row = 84 sts, divide them into 3 parts and knit from separate balls as follows: 1st part — 18 sts in pearl pattern, 2nd part — 2 sts in pearl pattern, 44 sts according to the chart, 2 sts in pearl pattern, 3rd part — 18 sts in pearl pattern. At a height of 17 cm from the rib 2 x 2, combine all sts = 84 sts and knit straight, following the patterns. At a height of 44 cm from the start of knitting, bind off 7 sts on both sides for the armholes. After completing the central cable 2 times, knit another 16 rows according to the chart and continue knitting the central 12 sts in stockinette stitch. Simultaneously, after 8 cm from the start of the armholes, bind off the central 8 sts and knit both sides separately. At a height of 21 cm from the start of the armholes, bind off for the neckline on both sides from the cut in every 2nd row 5 sts, 4 sts, 2 sts, and 2 times 1 st. At a total height of 72 cm

bind off  18  sts for each shoulder.

Sleeves: Knit in the transverse direction. On needles No. 5 cast on 73 sts and knit the sleeve slope with short rows as follows: 1st row (wrong side): 73 purl sts. 2nd row: knit 19 sts in pearl pattern, 3rd row: turn back, knitting the purl row according to the pearl pattern. Continue knitting in this manner, knitting additionally in every 2nd row 14 times 4 sts = 73 sts, keeping in mind that the first 25 sts should be knitted in pearl pattern, the next 24 sts knitted according to the chart and the remaining 24 sts knitted in pearl pattern. After all 73 sts are in work, knit 27 cm straight, perform the sleeve slope with short rows in reverse order and bind off sts. The width of the lower edge of the piece is about 27 cm and the upper edge – about 56 cm. Then, along the lower edge, on needles No. 4.5 pick up 36 sts, knit 6 cm in rib 2 x 2 and bind off sts according to the pattern.

ASSEMBLY: Moisturize the pieces and let them dry. Perform seams and sew the sleeves into the armholes. For the hood, along the edge of the neckline, on needles No. 5 pick up all sts, knit 35 cm in pearl pattern and bind off sts. On needles No. 4.5 along one edge of the placket and half of the hood, pick up all sts, knit 3 cm in rib 2 x 2 and bind off sts according to the pattern. Knit the second side in the same way. Perform the seam of the hood. Along the edges of the middle part of the front piece for the pocket flaps, on needles No. 4.5 pick up sts, knit 3 cm in rib 2 x 2 and bind off according to the pattern. Sew the edges of the pocket flaps. For the pocket lining on needles No. 5 from the wrong side after the rib, pick up the central 44 sts, knit 17 cm in pearl pattern and bind off sts. Sew the upper and side edges of the pocket lining. Sew in the zipper
