DESCRIPTION.

Back. On straight needles cast on 107 (113, 119, 125) sts and knit 2 rows in seed stitch. Then continue as follows: 1st setup row (RS): knit 57 (61, 65, 69) sts in seed stitch, 1 purl, then for the next 12 sts knit 2 times the repeat from chart 4, place a marker, then for the next 12 sts knit 2 times the repeat from chart 5, place a marker, then for the next 20 sts knit 2 times the repeat from chart 3, place a marker, 1 purl, then knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in seed stitch. 2nd setup row (WS): knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in seed stitch, 1 knit, then for the next 20 sts knit 2 times the repeat from chart 3, then for the next 12 sts knit 2 times the repeat from chart 5, then for the next 12 sts knit 2 times the repeat from chart 4, 1 knit, then knit 57 (61, 65, 69) sts in seed stitch. 3rd and 4th setup rows: repeat 1st and 2nd setup rows. Then knit all charts of row 5, then knit according to pattern and with seed pattern stitches on each side, until the length of the piece is 9.5 cm from the cast-on edge. The next decrease row (RS): knit 1 st in seed stitch, 2 knit together through the back loop, then knit according to pattern until the last 3 sts: 2 knit together, 1 st in seed stitch. Repeat the decrease every 6th row 3 more times = 99 (105, 111, 117) sts. Knit straight for 3 rows. Compensation in short rows. Note! To compensate for the difference in row density between the large segment of seed stitch and the cable section along the left edge, short rows are knitted over the seed stitch only (along) on the back. 1st short row (RS): knit seed stitch on all stitches until the dividing 1 purl: O&Y; 2nd short row (WS): knit seed stitch to the end of the row. Repeat these 2 short rows after completing 10 rows until the end of the back. Simultaneously, after completing 6 rows from the first set of short rows, continue to shape the side as follows: Increase row (RS): knit 1 st in seed stitch, 1 st increase, then knit according to pattern until the last st: 1 st increase, 1 st in seed stitch. Repeat the increases every 6th row 3 more times = 107 (113, 119, 125) sts. Continue working, making 2 short rows after every 10 rows. After 34 cm from the cast-on edge, start making the armhole by closing 4 (5, 5, 5) sts at the beginning of each of the next 4 rows, then decrease 1 st from both sides of each row 5 (5, 7, 8) times. Continue working straight until the armhole height is 19 (20.5, 21.5, 23) cm. Then make the shoulder slope.

Note! Due to the difference in knitting density, the number of closed stitches will be different for each shoulder. Close 7 (8, 7, 9) sts at the beginning of the next knit row, then 6 (7, 6, 6) at the beginning of the next purl row. Continue closing 7 (7, 8, 8) sts at the beginning of the next 2 knit rows and 6 (6, 7, 7) sts at the beginning of the next 2 purl rows. Then close the remaining 42 stitches.

Front.

On straight needles cast on 127 (133, 139, 145) sts and knit 2 rows in seed stitch. Then continue as follows: 1st setup row (RS): knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in seed stitch, then make the 1st setup row for all patterns, then knit the repeat on 18 sts from chart 1, place a marker, then the repeat on 30 sts from chart 2, place a marker, then the repeat on 18 sts from chart 1, place a marker, then for the next 20 sts the repeat from chart 3 twice, place a marker, then for the next 12 sts the repeat from chart 5 twice, place a marker, then for the next 12 sts the repeat from chart 4 twice, place a marker, 1 purl, then knit 12 (16, 20, 24) sts in seed stitch. 2nd setup row (WS): knit 12 (16, 20, 24) sts in seed stitch, 1 knit, twice the repeat from chart 5 on 12 sts, twice the repeat from chart 4 on the next 12 sts, twice the repeat from chart 3 on the next 20 sts, then the repeat from chart 2 on 18 sts, then the repeat from chart 1 on 18 sts, then knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in seed stitch. 3rd and 4th setup rows: repeat 1st and 2nd setup rows. Then knit all charts from row 5, then according to pattern and with seed pattern stitches on each side, until the length of the piece reaches 9.5 cm from the cast-on edge. Decrease row (RS): knit 1 st in seed stitch, then 2 knit together through the back loop, then knit according to pattern until the last 3 sts: 2 knit together, 1 st in seed stitch. Repeat decreases every 6th row 3 more times = 119 (125, 131, 137) sts. Then knit straight for 9 rows. Note! Due to the smaller segment of seed stitch on the side of the front, short rows are not performed. Increase row (RS): knit 1 st in seed stitch, 1 st increase, then knit according to pattern until the last st: 1 st increase, 1 st in seed stitch. Repeat increases every 6th row 3 more times = 127 (133, 139, 145) sts. Continue working according to pattern. After 34 cm from the cast-on edge, start performing the armhole as follows: close 4 (5, 5, 5) sts at the beginning of each of the following 4 rows, then decrease 1 st from both sides of each row 4 (4, 6, 7) times = 103 (105, 107, 111) sts. Continue straight until the armhole height is 12.5 (14, 15, 16.5) cm.

Neckline. Next row: (RS): knit 40 (41, 42, 44) sts, turn the work and place the remaining 63 (64, 65, 67) sts on a stitch holder and then finish both sides separately. In the next row (WS) close 4 sts from the neckline side, then in the next knit row decrease 1 st from the neckline side. Repeat the last 2 rows once more. Then decrease 1 st from the neckline side in the next 4 rows, and in each knit row decrease 1 st from the neckline side 5 times = 21 (22, 23, 25) sts. Then knit straight until the height of the neckline equals the back armhole.
Left shoulder. From the shoulder side close 1 time 7 (8, 7, 9) sts, then 2 times 7 (7, 8, 8) sts. From the front side attach the yarn from the neckline side and knit according to pattern on the next 23 sts. Place these stitches on a holder, then close the next 4 sts (from the right side of the neckline) and finish the right side of the front symmetrically to the left side.

Sleeves. On straight needles cast on 74 (78, 82, 86) sts and knit 2 rows in seed stitch. Setup row (RS): knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in seed stitch, 1 purl, then knit starting from the 3rd setup row [6 sts from chart 5, 2 purl] 4 times, then [6 sts from chart 4, 2 purl] 4 times, 1 purl, finish with 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in seed stitch. Maintaining the pattern on both sides in seed stitch decrease 1 st every 4th row 3 times = 80 (84, 88, 92). Then knit straight until the length of the piece is 5 cm from the cast-on edge. Close for the sleeve cap 4 (5, 5, 5) sts from both sides at the beginning of the next 2 rows, then 4 sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows. Then decrease 1 st from both sides in every row 4 (3, 3, 3) times = 56 (60, 64, 68) sts. Then decrease from both sides in every knit row 1 st 15 (17, 19, 21) times. Close the remaining 14 sts.

Finishing. Sew shoulder seams. The neckline is made as a continuation of the patterns along the front neckline, as well as the left shoulder of the back (see photo). Place stitch markers as follows: 1 marker in the center of the pattern of chart 2; 2nd marker in the center of the pattern of chart 1 (center of the neckline); 3rd marker at the end of 20 sts of chart 3; 4th marker at the left shoulder of the back at the beginning of the 2 cables; 5th marker at the end of the back neckline. On circular needles, starting from the 1st marker, cast on stitches and knit as follows: 16 sts along the left front edge of the neckline; then knit according to pattern 23 sts of the front neckline from the holder, decreasing 1 last st; then 28 sts along the right front edge of the neckline; then 42 sts along the back neckline; then 12 sts along the left front edge of the neckline = 120 sts. Do not join stitches in the round and knit back and forth as follows: Next row (WS): knit 4 sts in seed stitch, 2 purl, [2 knit, 2 purl] twice, 4 knit, [4 purl, 2 knit] twice, [2 purl, 2 knit] 13 times, 4 purl, 8 knit, 4 purl, 8 knit, [2 purl, 2 knit] twice, 2 purl, finish with 4 sts in seed stitch. Knit in this way for another 8 rows following the patterns from chart 1, then from chart 3 only from the 15th to the 18th row along the front neckline, then twice from chart 4 along the back neckline. Next row (RS): knit 2 sts in seed stitch, *slip the next 2 sts (for the cord) onto a safety pin or marker, then cast on 2 sts shifting the stitches and knit the 2 cast-on sts in seed stitch*, then knit according to pattern until the last 4 sts: repeat between *_* for the second cord, knit the remaining 2 sts in seed stitch. Then knit according to pattern until the height of the collar is 6.5 cm. Close stitches according to pattern. Cord (knit 2). Return to the 2 sts for the first cord. 1st row: [from 1 st knit 2 knit: 1 through the back loop, 1 through the front loop] twice = 4 sts. Knit the cord to a length of 30.5 cm, then draw the yarn through all 4 sts and cinch it, closing the stitch at the end. Set in the sleeves. Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
