Sweater

Size 44. For the work required: yarn LILI yarn 400g (60% alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% acrylic, 50g / 350m, Italy), circular and straight needles No.2.

Patterns: «Patent pattern»: odd number of stitches (repeat between *…*).

Row 1 (wrong side)  – 1 edge st., 1 purl st., * 1 knit st., 1 purl st.* 1 edge st.

Row 2 (right side) – 1 edge st., * 1 knit st. (insert needle 1 row below), 1 purl st.*, 1 knit st. (insert needle 1 row below), 1 edge st.

Row 3 – 1 edge st., 1 purl st., * 1 knit st. (insert needle 1 row below), 1 purl st.*, 1 edge st.

Repeat rows 2 and 3.

«Patent pattern» circular rows (collar): even number of stitches.

Row 1 - * 1 knit st., 1 purl st.*

Row 2 - * 1 knit st. (insert needle 1 row below), 1 purl st.*

Row 3 – *1 knit st., 1 purl st. (insert needle 1 row below)*

Repeat rows 2 and 3.

Main pattern «Snowflakes»: number of stitches multiple of 20+1+2 edge sts. Knit according to the pattern, in wrong rows knit stitches according to the pattern or as indicated in the legend.

Back. Cast on 103 stitches and knit a band 4cm high in patent pattern. Then continue with the main pattern. After 36.5cm from the band, bind off 3 stitches on both sides for the armholes, then in every second row 1*2 and 4*1. After 56cm from the band, bind off 5 stitches on both sides for shoulder slopes, and in every 2nd row 1*5 and 2*4 sts. Simultaneously with the first shoulder decrease, bind off the middle 19 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round off, bind off on the inner edge in every 2nd row 1*3 and 1*2 stitches.

Front. Knit the same as the back, but for a deeper neckline bind off the middle 11 stitches after 48cm from the band and in every 2nd row 3*2 and 3*1 stitches.

Sleeves. Cast on 39 stitches and knit a band 14cm high in patent pattern. Then continue with the main pattern, starting with 1 edge st. and stitches from arrow «A» to arrow «B» (1 repeat) and finish with 1 edge st. For the sleeve slope, increase alternately on both sides in every 4th and 5th rows 10 times by 1 stitch (included in the pattern). After 24cm from the band, bind off for the armhole in every second row on both sides 2*2, 10*1 and 2*4. After 35.5cm from the band, bind off the remaining stitches.

Assembly. Sew the shoulders with a knitted seam, on the neckline cast on 80 stitches on circular needles and knit in the round for 20cm in patent pattern. Bind off all stitches according to the pattern. Set in the sleeves, perform the sleeve seams and side seams.
