If you have been looking for a fashionable and striking model of large knitwear — this sweater with the pattern “Grapevine” is exactly what you need! Thanks to the voluminous structure of the pattern and airy yarn with mohair or angora, the item looks expensive and stylish — as if from a boutique.

Yarn and needles:
You will need size 5 needles and soft fluffy yarn with the addition of mohair, angora, or alpaca. It is important that the yarn holds the shape of the “bobble” pattern well while remaining light.

Yarn consumption:
For a chest circumference of about 91.5 cm, approximately 790 m of yarn will be needed. If 100 g contains 115 m, then you will need 7 skeins (approximately 700 g). It’s better to add one more skein (50 g) for the “bobble” pattern or ribbing.

Ribbing pattern:
Regular 1x1: one knit, one purl. The height of the ribbing on the cuffs is about 7 cm, on the seamless collar — 6 cm.

Sweater shape:

  • Raglan or set-in sleeve

  • You can knit a model with dropped shoulders

  • Seamless collar

  • “Bobble” pattern throughout the length of the sweater

Modeling tip:
Don’t be afraid to adapt the model to yourself — you can change the length, add volume, or even decorate the bottom with a border. Be creative!

Useful to know:
It’s better to check the yarn density in advance. For accurate calculations, use yarn consumption tables or the calculator on our website.
