Sweater knitted in the entrelac techniquehttp://klubok.work/1/3/8776/Klubok

The sweater in yellow tones in the first photo was knitted by strelnikova_lena, you can knit exactly the same one using this description. Choose the yarn color at your discretion.

Size: 38-42

The overall height of the pullover is 59 cm.

Ribbing: in the knit rows, alternate between 5 knit stitches and 3 purl stitches. In the purl rows, knit the stitches according to the pattern.

Woven pattern.

Stockinette stitch: knit rows – knit stitches, purl rows – purl stitches according to the description.

First, knit the triangles, then knit the rows of rectangles.
The 1st row of rectangles starts and ends with a triangle and is knitted from right to left, the 2nd row of rectangles is knitted from left to right. Repeat the 1st and 2nd rows continuously and finish with the 1st row of the rectangle and ending triangles.
Knit the edge stitches in the knit rows as knit stitches, in the purl rows – as purl stitches.

Gauge: stockinette stitch: 16 sts and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm. Diagonally, the rectangle is 12.5 cm wide.

Knitting description:

The pullover is knitted in one piece over the shoulders, starting from the back. The triangles and rectangles marked in gray are knitted with Grunmeliert yarn, all others with Gelbmeliert yarn. The ribbing is knitted afterwards.

Using Grunmeliert yarn, cast on 48 stitches and initially knit the main triangles as follows: * knit 2 purl stitches, turn, knit 2 knit stitches, turn; knit 2 purl stitches, then knit the next stitch of the cast-on edge = 3 stitches, turn, knit 3 knit stitches, turn, knit 3 purl stitches, then knit the next stitch of the cast-on edge = 4 stitches, turn, knit 4 knit stitches, turn.

Continue knitting in the same manner until there are 12 stitches on the right needle. Turn, knit 12 knit stitches, turn, and knit 12 purl stitches. Then do not turn, but set aside these 12 stitches and knit the next 3 stitches of the triangle in the same way as *.

Now knit the 1st row of rectangles. It starts on the right side of the work. Start with the initial triangle: knit the first 2 stitches of the last main triangle as knit stitches, turn, knit 2 purl stitches, turn. Knit 1 knit stitch, increase 1 stitch (knit twisted from the transverse thread), make 1 yarn over (= slip the last stitch as knit, knit 1 stitch of the main triangle knit, and yarn over the slipped stitch), turn, slip 1 stitch purlwise (yarn in front of the work), knit 2 purl stitches, turn; knit 1 knit stitch, increase 1 stitch, knit 1 knit stitch, make 1 yarn over, turn, slip 1 stitch purlwise, knit 3 purl stitches, continue knitting in the same manner, i.e., on the right side of the work, at the beginning of the row, increase 1 stitch, at the end make a yarn over until there are 12 stitches on the needle and all stitches of the 1st main triangle are used. Then do not turn.

Next, knit the rectangle: from the side edge of the next main triangle, knit 12 stitches, turn, knit 12 purl stitches, turn, and knit 11 knit stitches, 1 yarn over (= slip the 12th stitch of the rectangle as knit, knit 1 stitch of the main triangle knit and yarn over the slipped stitch), turn, slip 1 stitch purlwise (yarn in front of the work), knit 11 purl stitches, 1 yarn over, turn, slip 1 stitch purlwise, knit 11 purl stitches, turn. Continue knitting in the same manner until all 12 stitches of the main triangle are used. Then do not turn, knit the 12 set-aside stitches and knit the next 2 rectangles in the same manner.

For the final triangle from the side edge of the main triangle, knit 12 stitches, turn, knit 12 purl stitches, turn, knit 10 knit stitches, knit 2 stitches together knit, turn, knit 11 purl stitches, turn, knit 9 knit stitches, knit the last 2 stitches together knit, turn, knit 10 purl stitches, turn. Continue knitting in the same manner until there is 1 stitch left on the needle.

Now knit the 2nd row of rectangles, it starts and ends on the purl side of the work with the rectangle. For this, turn the work, slip 1 stitch (the stitch of the final triangle) purlwise, then from the side edge of the corner triangle, knit 11 stitches = 12 stitches.

Turn, knit 12 knit stitches, turn, * knit 11 purl stitches, then knit 2 stitches together purlwise (= the 12th stitch with the next stitch of the rectangle of the 1st row), turn, slip 1 stitch purlwise (yarn behind the work), knit 11 knit stitches, turn, then repeat from * until all stitches of the rectangle are used. Do not turn and set aside 12 stitches.

For the 2nd rectangle, from the side edge of the next rectangle, knit 12 stitches, turn, knit 12 knit stitches, turn, then knit from * as the previous rectangle.

Continue knitting the following rectangles in the same manner.
Now knit with Gelbmeliert yarn. Knit the 3rd row of rectangles one more time, then for the 1st sleeve recast 24 stitches and on these stitches knit 2 main triangles, including 4 rectangles.

For the second sleeve with a separate yarn, recast 24 stitches, then with the yarn of the pullover and on these stitches again knit 2 main triangles = 8 triangles/rectangles.
Now knit 3 more rows of rectangles on all stitches. In the next row, it is knitted from left to right, knit the first 3 rectangles as before, on the next 2 triangles for the neckline knit 2 final triangles.

For this, slip 1 stitch purlwise, then from the side edge of the next rectangle, knit 12 stitches * turn, knit 12 knit stitches, turn, knit 11 purl stitches, knit 2 stitches together purlwise (= the 12th stitch of the triangle with the next stitch of the triangle in the bottom row), turn, slip 1 stitch purlwise (yarn behind the work), knit 9 knit stitches, knit 2 stitches together knit = 11 stitches, turn, knit 10 purl stitches, knit 2 stitches together purlwise, turn, slip 1 stitch purlwise, knit 8 knit stitches, knit 2 stitches together knit = 10 stitches, turn, knit 9 purl stitches, knit 2 stitches together purlwise, turn.

Now knit in the same manner, i.e., on the purl side, knit the last stitch of the triangle together with the next stitch of the rectangle purlwise; on the knit side, knit the last 2 stitches together knit. In the last purl row, knit 2 stitches together purlwise, then from the side edge of the next rectangle, knit 11 stitches = 12 stitches. Repeat from * again. After the 2nd final
triangle, knit 3 more triangles, then set the work aside.

Now for the neckline of the front part, recast 24 stitches and knit 2 main triangles, then place these 2 triangles in the middle of the work.
Finish the front part symmetrically. That is, knit 3 rows of rectangles (with the initial triangles) on all stitches, then for the sleeves on both sides
knit 2 final triangles, the middle 4 rectangles knit as before.

Assembly: lay the piece according to the pattern, moisten, and leave to dry. From the edges of the sleeves, cast on 50 stitches with yarn, maintaining the length.

Knit in ribbing, in the 1st purl row after the edge stitch, knit alternating 5 purl stitches, 3 knit stitches, and finish with an edge stitch. At a height of 20 cm
bind off all stitches.

From the edges of the back and front, cast on 83 stitches with yarn and knit in ribbing. In the 1st purl row after the edge stitch, knit 2 knit stitches, then alternate between 5 purl stitches, 3 knit stitches and finish symmetrically. At a height of 9 cm bind off all stitches.
Sew the sleeve seams and side seams.

For the collar, using circular needles and yarn, cast on 96 stitches and knit in the round in ribbing.

At a height of 12 cm on every 2nd knit ridge, slip the last knit stitch purlwise, knit the following stitches purlwise, and yarn over the slipped stitch = 90 stitches. At a height of 14 cm, make decreases on the remaining ridges in the same manner = 84 stitches.
At a height of 18 cm, bind off all stitches.

Attach the collar to the neckline, maintaining the length.
