Delightful sweater with a simple textured pattern

A wonderful sweater with a simple textured pattern consisting of a straightforward alternation of knit and purl stitches. Add a soft yarn with mohair, kid mohair, alpaca wool, or mink down — and an incredibly cozy item is ready!

For knitting we will need about 8 skeins of creamy white or coffee beige yarn: 15% mohair/kid mohair/alpaca/mink down, 45% wool, 40% acrylic/polyacrylic/polyamide/polyester; 200-250 m/100 g. Needles No. 3.5-4.

A straight cut to the hips, a heavily dropped shoulder line, long wide sleeves, tapered to a ribbed cuff and a round neckline with a stand-up collar. The beige collar has a single layer, the creamy one has a double layer (folded inward and stitched down). Finishing at the bottom, on the cuffs, and neckline — ribbing 1 x 1 (1 knit, 1 purl).
