Sizes:
Chest circumference – 106 (126.5, 143, 160, 173.5) cm.
You will need:
►Yarn Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok (100% wool; 112 m / 50 grams per skein) – 13 (15, 18, 21, 24) skeins.
►Circular needles No. 5, 40 cm long,
►circular needles No. 5, 90 cm long,
►set of double-pointed needles No. 5,
►stitch markers,
►stitch holders,
►spare needle,
►tapestry needle.
Knitting gauge:
24 stitches and 27 rows = 10 cm of 2x2 ribbing in unstretched state.
Crossing stitches with a left-leaning decrease:
Slip 2 stitches to a spare needle and place in front of the left needle, [knit 2 stitches together through the front with a left-leaning (1 stitch from the spare needle and 1 stitch from the left needle)] – repeat 2 times – 2 stitches decreased.
Crossing stitches with a right-leaning decrease:
Slip 2 stitches to a spare needle and place behind the left needle, [knit 2 stitches together through the front with a right-leaning (1 stitch from the left needle and 1 stitch from the spare needle)] – repeat 2 times – 2 stitches decreased.
Beginning of knitting:
Using long needles, cast on 272 (320, 360, 400, 432) stitches. Place a marker and join stitches into a round.
Knit 5 cm of 2x2 ribbing (2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches).
Next round: 136 (160, 180, 200, 216) stitches of ribbing, place a marker, knit ribbing to the end of the round.
Next round: *32 cable pattern stitches, knit ribbing to the marker; repeat from * 1 more time.
Continue knitting in established order until the cable pattern repeat (rows 1-14) has been completed 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) times, then knit row 1 once.
Knit further in 2x2 ribbing until the height of the work reaches 30.5 (30.5, 31.5, 33, 34.5) cm from the cast-on row.
Next round: *remove the marker, knit 8 (8, 0, 4, 0) stitches, close the next 18 (18, 30, 26, 34) stitches*, knit to the marker; repeat from * 1 more time, knit to the end of the round – 118 (142, 150, 174, 182) stitches left on the needles for the front and back.
Do not cut the thread. Set the work aside.
Sleeves:
Using double-pointed needles, cast on 48 (56, 60, 64, 72) stitches. Place a marker and join stitches into a round.
Knit 15 cm of 2x2 ribbing (2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches).
Knit 3 rounds of 2x2 ribbing (2 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches).
Setting increases:
Increase round:
2 purl stitches, 2 yarn overs, *2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches; repeat from * to the last 6 stitches, 2 knit stitches, 2 yarn overs, 2 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches – 4 stitches increased.
Next round: 4 purl stitches, *2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches; repeat from * to the last 4 stitches, 2 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches.
Repeat the last round 7 (7, 4, 4, 4) more times.
Increase round:
2 purl stitches, 2 yarn overs, 2 purl stitches, *2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches; repeat from * to the last 4 stitches, 2 yarn overs, 2 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches – 4 stitches increased.
Next round: *2 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches; repeat from * to the end of the round.
Repeat the last round 7 (7, 4, 4, 4) more times.
Repeat the setting increases for 18 (18, 12, 12, 12) rows 4 (4, 6, 7, 7) more times – 88 (96, 116, 128, 136) stitches left on the needles.
Knit straight until the height of the work reaches 51 (51, 51.5, 52.5, 53.5) cm from the cast-on row, finish 8 (8, 16, 12, 16) stitches before the end of the round.
Next round: close 18 (18, 30, 26, 34) stitches, remove the marker, knit to the end of the round – 70 (78, 86, 102, 102) stitches left on the needles.
Cut the thread, leaving a 60 cm tail. Transfer the stitches to a stitch holder.
Yoke:

Place a marker and join stitches into a round.
Knit 10 (8, 10, 2, 2) rounds of 2x2 ribbing (2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches).
Only for sizes 160 and 173.5:
Decrease round: *knit to the marker, marker, 2 purl stitches, cross 4 stitches with a left-leaning decrease, knit to 6 stitches before the marker, cross 4 stitches with a right-leaning decrease, 2 purl stitches, marker; repeat from * once more – 8 stitches decreased.
Repeat these decreases every 3rd round 1 (3) more time – 536 stitches left on the needles: 166 stitches for the front and back and 102 stitches for each sleeve.
Knit 2 rounds straight.
For all sizes:

Forming the neckline:

Seam the underarms using the leftover yarn tails. Weave in the yarn ends. Steam block the pullover.
