Back

Cast on 81 (93) sts and knit 4 cm in 2x2 rib.

Continue with the main pattern, distributing the stitches as follows: 1 edge stitch, 0 (6) purl stitches, (15 stitches in lace pattern, 1 purl stitch - repeat 4 times), 15 stitches in lace pattern, 0 (6) purl stitches, 1 edge stitch.

After 58.5 cm = 134 rows from the initial row bind off for shoulder slope on both sides 1 x 4 (6) sts, then in every 2nd row 1 x 5 (7) sts and 2 x 4 (5) sts.

Simultaneously after 59 cm = 136 rows from the initial row bind off for neckline the middle 29 sts and finish both sides separately.

To round the inner edge, bind off in every 2nd row 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 1 sts.

After 61.5 cm = 142 rows from the initial row bind off the remaining 5 shoulder stitches.

Front

Knit as for the back, but for a deeper neckline bind off the middle 19 sts already at 55.5 cm = 128 rows from the initial row, then in every 2nd row 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts and 2 x 1 st.

Sleeves

Cast on 36 (42) sts for each sleeve and knit 2x2 rib 7 cm. In the last WS row increase 1 st.
Continue with the main pattern, distributing the stitches as follows: 1 edge stitch, 2 purl stitches, 15 stitches in lace pattern, 1 purl stitch, 15 stitches in lace pattern, 2 purl stitches, 1 edge stitch.

Simultaneously increase for sleeve shaping on both sides in every 10th row from initial row by 11 x 1 st (in every 8th row 14 x 1 st) = 59 (71) sts. All increased stitches to be included in the reverse stockinette.

After 55.5 cm = 144 rows from the initial row bind off all stitches.

Finishing

Sew the shoulder seams.

To knit the collar, cast on 90 sts on circular needles along the neckline edge and knit in 2x2 rib. When the collar width reaches 3.5 cm, bind off all stitches.

Set in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
