Knitted jumper

Knitted jumperhttp://klubok.work/1/3/9235/Klubok

The jumper is knitted Raglan from the top. First you need to knit the yoke (the difference in height between the back and the front), then the yoke is knitted. Then the knitting is divided into four parts – two sleeves, back, front. The sleeves, back and front are knitted in the round.

Sizes.

garment width - 46/48/50 cm, corresponding to sizes 42-44/46/48.

length of the Raglan line (front piece): 23/25/27/ cm, corresponding to sizes 42-44/46/48.

The length of the garment can be adjusted (the length in the description is 56 cm).

Knitting gauge
10 cm. x 10 cm. = 16 stitches x 24 rows stockinette on 5.5 mm needles.
Attention! The knitting gauge must match the specified one, so before starting work be sure to knit and wash a swatch. Then count how many stitches fit into 10 cm. If there are more than 16 stitches, switch to thicker needles; if fewer than 16 stitches, switch to thinner.

Abbreviations

M - marker, 1 кр - edge stitch

Yarn
Vittorio Kutnor (25 g, 210 m) in 2 strands.
Consumption: from 7 skeins (depends on size and length of garment).
Other yarns can be used provided the gauge matches the pattern description.
Alternative: Cielo Kutnor, Lana Gatto Silk Mohair, BBB Soft Dream, cone mohair yarn 100 g 800 m: in 2 strands.

Work in progress. Neck shaping.

To knit the round neckline:
on circular needles 4.5 mm cast on 84 stitches (if you cast on an extra stitch for joining in the round, then 85 stitches), join in the round, mark the beginning of knitting with a marker and knit 12 rounds in the pattern “1x1 Rib in the round”.

To knit a high collar (20 cm wide):
knit the desired number of rows.

For all sizes!!!
In the last row switch to needles 5.5 mm and from the start of the knitting mark with markers as follows:
M (start of knitting mark), 11 stitches (1/2 back), M, 2 stitches, M, 12 stitches (sleeve), M, 2 stitches, M, 30 stitches (front), M, 2 stitches, M, 12 stitches (sleeve), M, 2 stitches, M, 11 stitches (1/2 back).
Thus, knitting is divided into four parts: 2 sleeves, back and front.

In the knit row, twist the stitches (knit through the back loop), in the purl row, purl through the front loop.

The raglan line stitches consist of two stitches and will be knitted in stockinette. The 12 sleeve stitches are divided into 6 parts: 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2.

Join to knit in the round. Mark the beginning of knitting (at the middle of the underarm).

Knit in pattern in the round, i.e., continue knitting the lace pattern, making decreases at the beginning and at the end of the knitting (before and after the start marker) – 2 stitches knit together with a left- and right-leaning decrease in rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 20, 40, 60, 80.

Switch to needles 4.5 mm and knit in pattern “1x1 Rib” for 18 rows. Bind off. The number of rows can be adjusted to your liking.

In one row decrease (purl 2 together) to 40/44/46 stitches.

According to the description, only 2 full repeats of the pattern in height + 1–20 rows of the third repeat are knitted.

Washing and Blocking

After the garment is completely knitted, it should be washed in warm water with a detergent.

I wash hand-knitted clothes by hand.

Dry flat on a horizontal surface (on a towel).

When the garment is dry, hide the yarn ends on the wrong side of the garment.
