how to cast on initial stitches and the principle of knitting a flower

                             1. Arrange the yarn in a loop shape.

                        2. Hook the yarn and pull it towards you through the loop.
This will create the initial stitch.

                         3. Grab the yarn and pull it through the initial stitch.

 4. For the next stitch, grab the yarn and pull it through the loop.

                                5. Knit the next stitch.

                             6. Thus, cast on the required number of stitches.
                                        7. By pulling on the tail, we tighten the hole.

Distribute the stitches onto 3 needles and knit with the 4th.

Thus, I cast on 20 stitches onto the hook and transferred them to the needles.

I divided the stitches onto 4 needles and tightened the ring

Next, we knit in a circle

notations:
- knit stitch
p  - purl stitch
yo  - yarn over
*  - repeat from asterisk to asterisk
k2tog  - knit two together
yarn overs are knitted twisted (so that no hole is visible)
Row 1:  - 20 k (this is what we cast on with the hook)
Row 2:  - 20 k
Row 3:  - *4 k, 1 yo*
Row 4:  - *4 k, 1 yo, 1 k, 1 yo*
Row 5:  - 5 k, 1 yo, 1 k, 1 yo, *6 k, 1 yo, 1 k, 1 yo* 1 k (in total, there should be 45 stitches on the needles)
Row 6:  - 2 k, 1 yo, * 9 k, 1 yo,* 7 k (in total, there are 50 stitches on the needles)
Row 7  - 2 k, * 1 yo, 1 k, 1 yo, 4 k * 1 yo, 1 k, 1 yo, 2 k
Row 8  - 2 k, * yo, 3 p, yo, 4 k, * yo, 3 p, yo, 2 k
Row 9  - 2 k, * 5 p, 4 k, * 2 k
Rows 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15   are knitted according to the pattern of row 9.
Row 16 - 2 k, * yo, 5 p, yo, 4 k, *, yo, 5 p, yo, 2 k.
Row 17  - knit according to the pattern (knit the yarn over as a purl stitch)
Rows 18,19 - also according to the pattern
Row 20  - *2 k, 7 p, 2 k, yo*
further yarn overs need to be knitted as knit stitches so that there is a hole left
Row 21  - *2 k, 2 p knit together, 3 p, 2 p knit together, 2 k, yo, k, yo*
Row 22  - *2 k, 5 p, 2 k, yo, 3 k, yo*
Row 23  - *2 k, 5 p, 2 k, yo, k, 3 p, k, yo *
Row 24  - *2 k, 2 p knit together, 1 p, 2 p knit together, 2 k, yo, k, 5 p, k, yo*
Row 25  - * 2 k, 3 p, 2 k, yo, k, 7 p, k, yo*
Row 26  - *2 k, 3 p, 2 k, yo, k, 9 p, k, yo*
Row 27  - *2 k, 3 p knit together, 2 k, yo, k, 11 p, k, yo*
this picture I don't remember from which row.

and this is a photo with 27 rows.
28 - *k, 3 p knit together, k, yo, k, 13 p, k, yo*
29 - * 3 p knit together, yo, k, 15 p, k, yo*
Row 30 starts to close - decrease in the following sequence.  1st gap  close the stitches immediately,  the second gap  knit 3-4 rows, decreasing by 1 stitch from each side, close on the 5th row.  3rd gap  close immediately  4-5 gaps  knit, decreasing by 1 stitch from each side, while not forgetting to leave a strip in the center of knit stitches
Next, close the 6th and 7th gaps immediately, and for the 8th, 9th, and 10th gaps, knit together decreasing from each side at the beginning of the row.
this is what it looks like
this is the beginning of decreasing three gaps
and this is already the finished front (I decreased from the left side of the front with the flower by 2 stitches on one side, and from the right side of the front by 1 stitch)
for the second front, I cast on as many stitches as I closed on the other, and started making increases on every knit row on one side. After 10-12 cm, I started knitting without increases
then shaped the armhole and neckline.

I knitted the back, sewed everything. Now only the cuffs are left

I found material about them:

Knitting cuffs   can be done simultaneously with the garment or on lifted stitches, or completely separately and then sew the finished cuffs to the sleeves. Depending on the model, cuffs are knitted in ribbing, stockinette stitch, or any other pattern of choice.

Cuffs on lifted stitches .

Such cuffs are made on sleeves that are knitted together with the front and back (for example, on kimono sleeves). Lift stitches along the edge of the sleeve with a hook. Transfer them to a needle. Knit with the chosen pattern to a certain length, close the stitches with a needle. The stitches on the cuffs knitted this way will be oriented perpendicularly to the stitches on the garment

Sewn cuffs.

Exactly the same way cuffs that are knitted separately will look. Cast on the required number of stitches, continue with the chosen pattern to a certain height. Do not close the stitches and sew the cuffs along the lower edge of the sleeve, securing the stitches one by one with a slip stitch and grabbing one stitch of the cuff and one stitch of the sleeve.

And this is a bit off-topic, but let it be as an addition
there is such a diagram for a flower, but it is different

you need to take only 1 petal from it (there are 4 of them)

yarn over yarn over
decrease left (ssk) decrease left (ssk)
decrease right (k2tog) decrease right (k2tog)

twisted stitch (with straighter ends) twisted stitch (with straighter ends)
3 to 1 left 3 to 1 left
3 to 1 right 3 to 1 right
