Hooded Vest MK (Very original! I will knit the same for myself!)

VEST WITH HOOD

Yarn:

• "SUPERLANA MAXI"

• Color: #21

• Quantity: 6 skeins

• Needles #6

• Size: 38–40

Front:

• Cast on 43 stitches and knit 5 cm in 1x1 ribbing.

• Then knit according to the pattern with "braids":

  • In the center — 8 stitches of "braids",

  • On the sides — knit stitches.

• After the 3rd "braid", start decreasing 1 stitch on each side every row, a total of — 6 times.

• After that, knit straight for 15 cm,

• Then increase by 1 stitch on each side in every 4th row — 3 times.

• Knit another 4 "braids" and set the fabric aside.

Back:

• Cast on 67 stitches, knit 5 cm in 1x1 ribbing,

• Then distribute the pattern:

  • 6 knit, 18 knit, 1 purl, 2 knit, 8 p. "braids", 2 knit, 1 purl, 18 knit, 6 knit.

• After the 3rd "braid" — decrease from each edge:

  • 1 stitch every row, 6 times

• Then knit 15 cm straight,

• Then increase by 1 stitch in every 4th row — 3 times

• Knit another 4 "braids", then bind off stitches.

Hood:

• Cast on 67 stitches and knit for 28 cm.

• Then divide into 2 parts and knit each separately for another 5 cm,

• Then sew the top part of the hood.

• Cut buttonholes.

Assembly:

• Perform side and shoulder seams.

• Sew on the hood.

• Perform steam blocking.
