BEAUTIFUL WARM SCARFhttp://klubok.work/1/35/6221/Klubok

This fluffy snood made with unconventional braids and garter stitch looks very elegant. The knitting pattern for such a model is quite simple. For this scarf, you will need 250–300 g of solid mixed yarn (550 g/100 m) made of angora and acrylic. In finished form, it should turn out to be a rectangular piece measuring 190 cm in length and 45 cm in width.
Before knitting the snood with needles, it is necessary to calculate the stitches based on a test sample. In this case, it is 105 stitches.
The stitches cast on the narrow side of the scarf are distributed as follows:
1 edge stitch;
5 stitches in garter stitch;
2 stitches in purl stitch;
braid of 24 stitches;
2 stitches in purl stitch;
37 stitches in garter stitch (middle part);
2 stitches in purl stitch;
braid of 24 stitches;
2 stitches in purl stitch;
5 stitches in garter stitch;
1 edge stitch.
The number of stitches in the middle part of the piece depends on the total number of stitches cast on according to preliminary calculations and may vary.
That is, if you need to cast on not 105 stitches, but 5 stitches less (100 stitches), then there will be not 37 stitches in the middle part, but 32 stitches (37 – 5 = 32). Accordingly, if more than 105 stitches are cast on, the "excess" is again added to the middle 37 stitches.
Another nuance: it is better to knit the edge stitches as knit stitches. This technique will make the edge of the snood neater, ribbed, and will prevent it from stretching too much.
The main decoration of this model is the original textured cables. To make them, it is necessary to move 3 stitches to the left or right according to the pattern using a helper needle.

Knitting a scarf-snood with needles can be complemented by mittens or gloves made from the same yarn. The back side can be decorated with the same braids. This set will make the look more complete and stylish.
Now you know how to knit a snood with needles.
I also recommend watching this video compilation of snoods to appreciate all their beauty and magnificence.
