Follow these steps:

• Calculate how many stitches you need to cast on for 150 cm of knitting by knitting 10 cm of the pattern.
• Cast on the required number of stitches. Now knit 3 stitches in stockinette stitch, 5 stitches in purl, then 3 stitches in stockinette stitch again. The pattern repeat: 5 — purl on the right side and knit on the wrong side, and 3 — stockinette on the right side, purl on the wrong side. Repeat the pattern until the end of the row.
