Thick yarn, needles #6. We cast on 30 stitches, knit 6 rows of garter
stitch or in the GRAIN pattern (one knit one purl, alternating in a checkerboard pattern)
(density 30 stitches - 24 cm).
We divide into 5 parts of 6 stitches each, knit each strip separately in a
20 cm stocking stitch, collecting each strip on a needle. After knitting, we collect
all 30 stitches on 1 needle, knit 50 cm in garter stitch (GRAIN pattern). Again, we divide into 5
parts of 6 stitches each. We knit 20 cm separately for each strip in a
stocking stitch. Then we intertwine each strip with the previous ones, as in the photo,
collect strips on one needle, knit 6 rows of garter stitch (or GRAIN pattern).
Bind off. To finish, we attach a fringe.
