2 knitting options


1: cast on, for example, 6 stitches and knit the tongue in every even row, adding 1 stitch at the edges, the length of the tongue depends on how high your slippers should be. Then add a new color and knit the foot with the new color, again adding 1 stitch at the edges in every even row. Continue adding until you have knitted the same length as the tongue. Then knit the sides and the sole in any pattern or plain, when you have knitted the required length, knit the heel and close everything. Finally, sew on the tongue as in the picture and it's ready.
2: Start knitting like normal slippers from the heel, knitting to just over the middle of the foot, then start decreasing. The first time you close 2 stitches in the middle and then in every 2nd row decrease 1 stitch at the edges until you have, for example, 25 stitches left. Then close these 15 stitches and separately knit the tongue to the desired length, and at the end, sew it on.
