"Description. Cast on 48 stitches, distribute on 4 needles and knit 1x1 ribbing (6 rows). Then knit with 2 needles in ribbing, and with 2 - pattern (front). The socks are knitted like regular socks. Only the top is lacy. Just in these, I knitted the sole in ribbing, which unfortunately confused many. The sole after the heel can be knitted in a regular, smooth stockinette stitch. The socks are knitted like usual: on five needles!! Just on two, after the cuff, knit a regular heel (or whichever you prefer), then: on two - pattern (top), on two - sole. Don't forget to decrease after the heel!!
Pattern:
Row 1 – 6 purl, 6 knit; 6 knit, 6 purl.
Row 2 – 5 purl, 2 together knit leaning right, 4 knit, 1 yarn over, 1 knit; 1 knit, 1 yarn over, 4 knit, 2 together knit leaning left, 5 purl.
Row 3 – 4 purl, 2 together, 4 knit, yarn over, 2 knit; 2 knit, yarn over, 4 knit, 2 together, 4 purl.
Row 4 – 3 purl, 2 together, 4 knit, yarn over, 3 knit; 3 knit, yarn over, 4 knit, 2 together, 3 purl.
Row 5 – 2 purl, 2 together, 4 knit, yarn over, 4 knit; 4 knit, yarn over, 4 knit, 2 together, 2 purl.
Row 6 – 1 purl, 2 together, 4 knit, yarn over, 5 knit; 5 knit, yarn over, 4 knit, 2 together, 1 purl.

Then repeat the pattern until you reach the desired size. Knit like regular socks, just with a beautiful pattern."
