Description of women's socks knitted

Heel shaping:

Row 1 (right side): knit until 6-6-7 stitches remain, wrap (slip 1 stitch as knit, knit 1 stitch and pull it over the slipped one), turn the work.

Row 2: knit until 6-6-7 stitches remain, purl wrap, turn the work.

Row 3: knit until 5-5-6 stitches remain, wrap, turn the work.

Continue knitting in the same manner until there are 12-14-14 stitches left on the needle.

Cast on 68-68-72 stitches, join in the round and knit 1 round in knit stitch. Continue knitting in 2x2 ribbing (2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches) to a height of 4 cm. Then knit 1 round in knit stitch and at the same time evenly decrease 2-2-6 stitches, continue knitting according to pattern A.1 (repeat the pattern 6 times).

After 11-12-13 cm from the cast-on edge, leave the first 24-24-24 stitches for the heel, set the rest aside. Knit in stockinette stitch for a height of 5-5.5-6 cm and at the same time in the 1st row increase the number of stitches on the needle to 22-24-26. Place a marker and knit the heel (see description above). After that, cast on 11-11-12 stitches along the edges of the heel and knit in the round = 76-78-80 stitches. On the upper stitches knit according to the pattern, on the lower ones - in stockinette stitch. Start decreasing at the edges of the upper stitches in the next round and then in every 2nd round until 60-62-64 stitches remain. After 18-19-21 cm from the marker, start shaping the toe: place 2 markers, dividing the stitches evenly between the upper and lower parts, in the next round decrease by 1 on each side of the marker. Repeat the decrease round every 2nd round until 20-18-16 stitches remain on the needles. In the next round knit 2 stitches together in the round on all stitches, cut the yarn and pull its end through the remaining stitches. Tighten and secure from the wrong side.
