Cast on 60 stitches, knit 6 rows in garter stitch with the main color, 2 rows with another color, 2 rows with the main color, 2 rows with another color, 2 rows with the main color, 2 rows with another color, and 6 rows with the main color. Bind off the stitches.
Fold the pieces as if making a loop and cast on 12 stitches from one narrow side, + 3 chain stitches, and from the other narrow side another 12 stitches. A total of 27 stitches on the needle. On these stitches, knit the toe part in the shape of a triangle in garter stitch:
Row 1 - 27 stitches in the main color.
All even rows - according to the pattern, i.e. knit stitches.
Row 3 - 27 stitches in another color.
Row 5 - 12 knit, 3 together knit, 12 knit in the main color.
Row 7 - 25 stitches in another color.
Row 9 - 11 knit, 3 together knit, 11 knit in the main color.
Continue to decrease 3 stitches in the center in every 4th row in the main color. A total of 12 stripes in the main color and 11 stripes in another color should be obtained.
Cast on 27 stitches from the center of the heel, then on one side of the triangle 26 stitches, on the other side also 26 stitches and another 27 stitches to the center of the heel. A total of 106 stitches on the needles. Knit back and forth 6 rows in the main color, 2 rows in another color, 2 rows in the main color, 2 rows in another color, 2 rows in the main color, 2 rows in another color, and 6 rows in the main color. Knit either on double-pointed needles or on circular needles (cable).
I knitted in the round, alternating knit and purl rows. I knitted a total of 10 rows, then knitted short rows, increasing the toe part back and forth:
Row 1 - 80 knit, turn
Row 2 - 54 knit, turn
Row 3 - 47 knit, turn the work
Row 4 - 40 knit, turn the work.
Row 5 - 33 knit, turn the work.
Row 6 - 26 knit, turn the work.
Row 7 - 19 knit, turn the work,
Row 8 - 12 knit, turn the work.
Row 9 - 58 knit.
Row 10 - 106 knit (in my case - purl stitches).
Row 11 - start knitting the sole: 57 knit, 2 together knit, turn the work.
Row 12 - bind off the 1st stitch, 8 knit, 2 together knit, turn the work.
Next, repeat row 12 until there are 5 stitches left on each side. Then knit 3 stitches together at the end of each row ("stitch from the sole and 1 side stitch), bind off the last 2 stitches together and sew the heel. I had a solid heel, so I reduced the decreases to 12 (6 stitches from the sole and 6 stitches from the heel fabric and sewed the stitches with a needle).
