I cast on 79 stitches for my size 39 foot. Knit in hollow ribbing for 8-10 rows, then divide the knitting into 3 parts: for Tanya: 29+1+29, for me: 39+1+39 stitches. In each right side row, knit 3 (knit, yarn over, knit) from one middle stitch.
Knit the side parts in seed stitch:
Row 1 (color A) - 1 knit, *1 yarn over (yarn in back), 1 knit, repeat from *.
Row 2 (color A) - 1 knit, *1 yarn over (yarn in front), 1 knit, repeat from *.
Row 3 (color B) - 2 knit, *1 yarn over (yarn in back), 1 knit, repeat from *.
Row 4 (color B) - 2 knit, *1 yarn over (yarn in front), 1 knit, repeat from *.
Repeat this pattern for these 4 rows.
Continue until you have 7 (for me 9) dark stripes and 6 (8) light stripes on the front part.
Then on the middle central 13 stitches, knit the sole and the back of the sock according to the principle of knitting a heel of a sock.
Wishing you easy stitches!!!
