Cast on 48 stitches, distribute them on 4 needles, and knit the pattern:

Row 1 – knit all stitches;

Row 2 – purl all stitches;

Row 3 – knit all stitches;

Row 4 – purl all stitches;

Rows 5 and 6 knit in the round with knit stitches;

Row 7 – knit all stitches;

Row 8 – purl all stitches;

Row 9 – knit all stitches;

Row 10 – purl all stitches;

Rows 11 and 12 knit in the round with knit stitches;

Row 13 make holes for the laces: *knit; 2 together knitwise through the back loop*;

Row 14 repeat the pattern from rows 1 to 12

Then knit with 2 needles (24 stitches) knit stitches, and with two (24 stitches) – the pattern (this is the top of the slipper).

Heel:

Knit a piece about 7-10 cm (depends on the shoe size):

Row 1 – from the front side – all stitches knit;

Row 2 – from the back side – *1 knit; slip 1 stitch purlwise, yarn in front*;

From * to * repeat the pattern until the end of the row;

Then divide 24 stitches into 3 parts:

7+10+7

Knit only the middle (7+10+7) 10 stitches, (with short rows: knit 9 stitches knitwise, and knit 10 and 11 together through the back loop, turn the work and knit from the back side: knit 9 stitches purlwise, and knit 10 and 11 together purlwise)  Turn the work again and continue knitting until there are 10 stitches left;

** decreases  are made at the end of each row by knitting 2 stitches together: from the front side – 2 together knitwise, and from the back side – 2 together purlwise.**

Then, pick up side stitches along the edges of the knitted piece (7-10 cm) (about 14 stitches plus 5 stitches from the heel on each side). On two needles, there are 38 stitches  (19 stitches on each needle of the lower part of the heel) and 24 stitches on the upper part. Start decreasing to 12 stitches on each lower needle and at the same time continue to knit the lace pattern on the upper part. Thus,  knit in the round, making decreases until there are 12 stitches left on both the upper and lower parts.

Pattern:
Row 1 – 6 purls, 6 knits; 6 knits, 6 purls.

Row 2 – 5 purls, 2 together knitwise leaning to the right, 4 knits, 1 yarn over, 1 knit;  and in a mirror image: 1 knit, 1 yarn over, 4 knits, 2 together knitwise leaning to the left, 5 purls.

Row 3 – 4 purls, 2 together, 4 knits, yarn over, 2 knits; and in a mirror image: 2 knits, yarn over, 4 knits, 2 together, 4 purls.

Row 4  – 3 purls, 2 together, 4 knits, yarn over, 3 knits; and in a mirror image: 3 knits, yarn over, 4 knits, 2 together, 3 purls.

Row 5 – 2 purls, 2 together, 4 knits, yarn over, 4 knits; and in a mirror image: 4 knits, yarn over, 4 knits, 2 together, 2 purls.

Row 6 – 1 purl, 2 together, 4 knits, yarn over, 5 knits; and in a mirror image: 5 knits, yarn over, 4 knits, 2 together, 1 purl.

Then repeat the pattern until  you reach the desired size.

Knit like regular socks.

Toe:

On  needles 1 and 3 decrease at the beginning of the row (knit 2 stitches together knitwise);

On  needles 2 and 4 decrease at the end of the row (knit 2 stitches together knitwise);

But you can decrease stitches at the beginning of each needle.

I knit only knit stitches (no edge stitches).. inc (increase - I make from the yarn over, can just do a yarn over)... I cast on 5 stitches..Row 1-5 knits... Row 2-2 knits, inc 1 knit, inc,2 knits...Row 3-7 knits..Row 4-3 knits, inc,1 knit,inc,3 knits...Row 5-9 knits..Row 6-4 knits, inc,1 knit,inc,4 knits (11 stitches)......then 5-7 rows of knit stitches....decreases are made at the edges every other row....1 knit, 2 together knit, 5 knits, 2 together knit, 1 knit...9 knits...1 knit, 2 together, 3 knits, 2 together, 1 knit..7 knits..1 knit, 2 together, 1 knit, 2 together, 1 knit..5 knits...2 together, 1 knit, 2 together....3 knits...3 together....I hope I have written clearly...the number of stitches and rows can be changed later as needed
